Bluesea Cala Millor

Amazing place if you’re coming only to chill, but as a solo traveler it wasn’t the best choice as there isn’t that much to do around the hotel. The hotel itself is amazing tho! Amazing food and service. (Mostly elderly btw if you’re young this isn’t the place to be)

We have just returned from this hotel. We booked with On The Beach. We arrived at the hotel after travelling from the airport for just under 2 hours. We could hear the music from the street as we approached the hotel. The reception was bright and airy. We were checked in quickly, paid our tourist tax, had our passports scanned and given the cards for our room. We were directed to block 2 which is across the road. When we arrived at our room we were disappointed to see the room was not as the photos show on the brochure we used to book with (see photos) The room was clean but it was very tired, very basic, the wardrobe smelt fousty (we kept it open all week), the bathroom is in need of maintenance (it’s an over the bath shower) the glass door is secured to the side of the bath so if you have mobility issues you might struggle to climb in. The bottom of the bath is very stained from what can only be described as dirty feet marks. (See photos). The balcony was a stone wall in front of you, not glass as advertised which was very tired with 2 chairs and a table that has been well used. The wall was used as an ashtray by the previous guests. (See photos). We went back to reception and asked for this to be addressed, this didn’t happen. The restaurant is spacious enough, the staff were very attentive and the chefs could be seen checking regularly. The food was basic, buffet food, if you want a full dinner not buffet you’ll be better off going out. Food overall not great but manageable if you like buffet. The all inclusive food operates during set times, food or snacks aren’t available all day, the bar is available until 11pm all inclusive. The location is great. You can see the beach and blue water from the hotel. It’s a very short walk (2 mins) to the vast selection of shops/bars/restaurants and beach. Overall this hotel needs maintenance and sorting out, very poor in block 2. If you are happy with stag/hen style parties, budget, basic and bland this is for you. In my opinion give it a wide berth!!

Can't fault the place,room is o good size,bathroom a little small but otherwise good and clean,great shower,food is tasty,a little limited selection but good none the less,staff friendly,poolside clean and litter free,pay 1 euro for your tumbler which I thought is a great idea as no glasses left lying around and you get refunded when hand glass back,can't understand the negative comments from what I saw,you but 3 star expect 3 star and not the ritz,tour holiday is what you make it,if returning to the area wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Arrived Sunday 9th June, at approx 11.30pm after an hour delay by Ryan air. Had a sandwich not much but better than nothing. No other food available, we had paid for that day. Lady at counter a bit short. Room small and not like the pics advertised on web sight. Things not put in the details of the stay I'm a bit annoyed about. Have to pay 1 x euro each to drink out of a plastic cup.( which you get back) I had no euros so refused to serve me. Bar in the hotel has no ambience. Have to pay at the bar attached to the side of be hotel , so very misleading. You get 10% off. Wow. No entertainment in hotel unless go to said above bar . No bottled water, have to pay at vending machine . Food minimal not much choice. Tables and chairs round pool dirty, with Drinks,not wiped down. Got already dressed up and had to drink out of a crappy plastic cup . I like a glass and felt very uncomfortable. Will NOT be coming back. Very misleading should be told this on websight.

We arrived in the middle of the night and received a warm welcome after check in, we went in to the restaurant where there were some breads, cold meats and cheeses and fruit left out to have a bite to eat. There was also soft drinks, wines and lager available. Our room was in block 1 on the 3rd floor with a view of the street behind. A fairly spacious room with a small bathroom with walk in shower. The room was very clean and. Also had a nice balcony with 2 chairs, table and drying rack attached to the wall. The hotel is very noisy, there doesn’t seem to be anything to stop the sound from travelling, so you can hear doors closing and locking, people talking and walking, the lift etc. we are quite heavy sleepers so this was only a problem for us on the first night, but if you are a light sleeper you may have a problem. The lifts are small but quick and they aren’t busy so there was never a problem calling one. The dining room is bright and spacious with a lovely outside eating area, there are numerous small birds here who will steal your food from the table, if you leave it unattended, but of course, this is beyond the hotel’s control. The food at breakfast was the usual continental with some hot items. The food varied daily, there was always breads, different bread rolls, salads, chips, soup, pasta etc and maybe a meat and a fish. Puddings were very limited, although one evening there was a chocolate fountain with sweets and fruit for dipping. Mostly the quality of the food is quite poor, this is the only thing that really lets the hotel down, but you will always find something to eat, I ate mostly chips, bread and salad. The all inclusive drinks choice isn’t vast, but they pour good measures and it more than covered our needs. The hotel is very close to a lovely beach and even closer to the main town shops and bars. The pool area does get very busy, but we managed to get a bed at about 9.30am on the days we weren’t at the beach. Overall, a nice hotel, close to the town and beach. If the food standard improved we would return to this hotel, but unfortunately for us, the food is a deal breaker, as even though the hotel is good for a budget hotel, we have never had such poor food anywhere else.

Absolutely disgusting. not been on holiday for 6 years . arrived at this hotel no toilet rolls , wee s over the floors and toilet seats filthy . the room was clean. the lady on the desk is horrible , rude and accusatory. i asked for a hot chocolate for me and my partner. she actually give me a c plastic cup and told me. She’ll only allow us tonight as we are late arrivals. you feel like you are unwelcome. i’m putting a complaint in ..Horrible place and the woman on the desk is rude , sarcastic and disrespectful.

We have just returned from a very pleasant week at Bluesea Cala Millor. The hotel is very clean and is light and bright. Rooms were well cleaned daily with fresh towels as needed and sheets changed after the 4th day. The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. We stayed on an all inclusive basis . the food was basic, but acceptable , buffet style at breakfast lunch and dinner. There were plenty of salads, a fish dish was available every lunch and dinner and always a choice of meat dishes and something suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Breakfast choices were very good. The staff in the restaurant were so cheerful and helpful. Special mention for Magdelena. The barmen were also cheerful and pleasant and drinks on offer were plentiful and several alcohol free options were available. We went with another couple and we all felt we would be happy to return.

Great location, short stroll to shops and beach. Apartment nice and clean, fresh towels daily. Staff very friendly. Nice variety of food at all mealtimes, always found plenty to eat. A nice variety of alcoholic drinks and branded soft drinks available. Although 3 star, it is better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed at.

Really lovely staff. Food offered on late arrival. Nice touch. Pool not too cold. Not too noisy. Great value for the price and near a beautiful beach. Would consider returning. Only downside was evening bat where you were expected to buy drinks if u wanted to enjoy the evening entertainment. Staff were a little efficious. That said, the strawberry daqrui was nice!!
