ホテル＆スパ サントラドール プラヤ(Hotel & Spa S'Entrador Playa)

Above expectations It was our first time in Mallorca and we were trying to pick a nice and calm hotel close to the beach. Finally,  we were lucky with our choice. The receptionist, Helene welcomed us professionally and the check-in went fast and smooth, thank you for that, dear Helen. The room is nicely furnished and fitted for the needs of the guests.  We loved the design and the small but very important details, e.g. lights in the bathroom, an extra switch for the A.C. installed in the bed, extra clothes-drying rod on the balcony, just to name some. Regarding F&B: We booked half board. The dining area offers enough space, different options (indoor and outdoor). The service is buffet style. Regarding food: The buffet offers a lot of choice and different options. Since I am vegan/vegetarian, I'm a bit picky regarding food, but I only had 1-2 nights where I was not that happy with the options presented.  For meat lovers, as per my impression, there is a wider choice, especially at breakfast and regarding side dishes at dinner. Input: It would be nice to prepare the side dishes, e.g. spaghetti or fried rice without meat, so it would be suitable for most of the guests. The service is friendly and they give special attention for children. Facilities: The hotel has a big pool, which we did not use, but the wellness and fitness area properly met our needs. I liked that the gym is divided in 2 areas (cardio and muscle building). The staff is very friendly, they even remembered my birthday and surprised me with balloons and a voucher for the spa. Overall, we were happy with our stay there and would recommend it.

Very nice little hotel. Beds comfortable. Air con worked well and quiet. Double glazing on patio blocked sound from outside. Very clean everywhere. Location for beach fantastic. Pool area nice enough but we spent most of the time down the beach. Not the biggest selection for food but good enough and normally a speciality feature every night. My favourite was the pasta Parmesan. Lovely chocolate sauce for the churros in the morning too! Staff really nice and friendly, special shout out to Raquel who looked after us most days, mucho Gracias👍 If you are looking for 5 star luxury, maybe not for you, but if you want an unassuming comfortable base to relax in, perfect. The beach did fill up and Cala Rajada is a busy resort. Mainly German tourists and they did provide a party vibe down the beach. The marina area has some lovely bars and restaurants and again a good atmosphere. All in all, had a great holiday.

Hotel is well situated and nice. Staff is friendly. Desaponted by the food , never experienced such low quality food in a 4 stars hotel in Mallorca . I hope the management will take action as this would be the only reason why I wouldn't come back .

The hotel is nice the employees are kind. I only have two problems. The wifi connection was weak in most of the hotel. And the food in the buffet t was mediocre at best one of the worst I’ve had in a 4 star hotel especially in Mallorca.

Stayed for 8 days with family. A few things were too bad to oversee and have an enjoyable experience: 1. NO WIFI This is a must when the majority of your guests are international. Completely unacceptable 2. HORRIBLE COFFEE When not providing a kettle with tea/coffee facilities, at least clean your coffee machines or fill it with proper coffee beans to have a drinkable cup of coffee 3. HIGH FEES TO PLAY TENNIS Considering it’s summer and all 1000 of your tennis courts aren’t in use, perhaps lower the price or provide the tennis rackets complimentary? 4. NO WATER Since there’s no water in the rooms (!!!) don’t force your guests to go to the supermarkets downstairs to buy water. Looks very cheap to see everyone doing it as it’s so overpriced in the restaurants 5. NOT ENOUGH POOL BEDS Rooms with beds/terrace doesn’t have umbrellas and there’s not enough beds at the pool, so everyone wakes up at 6am to lay their towels and book it and even when the leave for lunch they leave it there (management should look into that).

Great and helpful, very friendly service. Good variety for breakfast and dinner including specials. Prices for drinks were good.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Eten was lekker en afwisselend. Grote groepen duitsers. Tennisbanen zijn vaak volgeboekt en per reservering €18,-. Onze buurvrouw ontving mannen op de kamer. Melding gemaakt. Daarna rustiger maar geen enkele compensatie gehad.

Der erste Eindruck beim Einchecken war wirklich positiv. Es duftet überall im Haus angenehm frisch und das Personal beim einchecken war sehr freundlich. Die Freundlichkeit ist uns im gesamtem Urlaub widerfahren. egal ob es der Hoteldirektor (der sich persönlich vorgestellt hat), die Zimmerfeen oder auch die Kellner waren. Alle super freundlich und höflich. Die Sauberkeit im ganzen Haus war auch ausgesprochen gut. Die Nähe zum wunderschönen Strand Cala Agulla super und die damit verbundene Aussicht auf das Meer war wirklich toll. Leider hören da die positiven Eindrücke aber auch auf. Ein Safe und Bademäntel hätten gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr geliehen werden können. Bei dem doch ohnehin sehr hohen Reisepreis für uns nicht akzeptabel. Der größere Innenpool und das Spa dürfen erst ab 16 Jahren genutzt werden. Es gibt für Kinder eine Ausweichmöglichkeit - heißt Kinder Spa, ist aber eigentlich ein lediglich ca.80 cm tiefes Planschbecken im Außenbereich. Für kleine Kinder sicherlich besser als nichts, aber für gute Schwimmer und meine 6 jährige sicher völlig unbrauchbar. Dazwischen hat man dann einfach Pech. Privatsphäre auf Balkonen war nicht gegeben, man sitzt ohne größeren Sichtschutz im Blickfeld des Zimmernachbarn. Das Hotel ist leider auch sehr hellhörig, ich bin morgens allen ernstes von dem Schnarchen der Zimmernachbarn geweckt worden. Die Zimmertüren selbst lassen sich leider auch nicht geräuscharm schließen, so dass man auch gerne mal ordentlich hoch schreckt, wenn auf dem Flur eine Tür geschlossen wird. Alles wäre aber halb so schlimm gewesen - wenn da nicht noch das Essen gewesen wäre. Wir fanden es sehr eintönig, es gab ziemlich wenig Auswahl und das was es gab, wiederholte sich ständig. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, wobei wir die völlig überzuckerten Säfte wirklich furchtbar fanden. Beim Dessert gab es die üblichen Süßspeisen und wirklich immer das gleiche Obst. Das Hotel ist nicht günstig und wir haben es unter anderem auch wegen der guten Gastronomie-Bewertungen gewählt -da wurden wir aber richtig enttäuscht! Keine landestypischen Speisen, Serrano S*****en, gute Oliven oder ein gutes Aioli waren Fehlanzeige. Wir haben hin und wieder auswärts was gegessen, leider war wegen der noch nicht geltenden Saison noch sehr viel an Lokalen geschlossen. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Jedoch haben wir uns auf ein gutes und ausreichendes Essen im Hotel gefreut, daher war es wohl der erste Urlaub in 20 Jahren, in der wir alle etwas Gewicht verloren haben :-) Die Preise für Getränke waren sowohl beim Essen, als auch in der Minibar übrigens recht human und nicht überteuert. Ich finde hier 4 Sterne dennoch nicht angemessen und würde das Hotel weder weiter empfehlen, noch ein weiteres Mal buchen. Tut mir sehr leid!
