100 years old hotel , nice experience

This castle-like hotel proved to be an exquisite haven for leisure travelers like myself. From the moment I stepped foot into its grandeur, I was greeted with a blend of elegance and warmth that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The unique charm of each room, coupled with the impeccable daily cleaning, created a sanctuary of comfort and tranquility. Its strategic location allowed for easy exploration of the city's renowned attractions on foot, while the attentive 24-hour security and exceptional service, including going the extra mile to accommodate me when I fell ill and even reopening a closed restaurant, truly elevated the experience. Despite its seemingly modest size, the hotel boasted ample amenities such as various hidden halls, a refreshing pool, and a delightful guardian dog, complemented by practical conveniences like parking and reliable WiFi. Surprisingly, I found no cons to mention, as every aspect of my stay surpassed expectations, leaving me with cherished memories and a strong recommendation for fellow travelers seeking an enchanting retreat.

It is my 7th time staying there. The staff is what makes it great. They treat you like family. It is clean and safe

Small boutique hotel with beautiful architecture value, friendly staff, amazing service, delicious food and located in a great area!

I paid for the triple room, the AC wasn’t working properly so we moved to another room with poor AC eventually settling for a room with two double beds though I paid for the triple room, has two rooms and it sleeps 4. There was one receptionist who was insisting we had to pay for additional people. The room sleeps 4 and those rooms cost more because there’re larger and sleep more people. The reservations do not mention additional costs per person. We were going to be there for two weeks, that’s why I wanted the larger room but in the end I paid for the larger room and continued to be down graded with no refund or reimbursement of the difference.

Gorgeous property with lots off trees and plants. Service and cleanliness were very good. Although they have lots of ramps it could be a little challenging for some clients with mobility problems. It is solidly in the tourist zone with access to plenty of restaurants, museums and shopping. My biggest issue was that although they had AC in the room it was quite noisy.

Enrique and the staff at this historical Cali hotel are wonderful. I stayed there 38 years ago and it is just as new as back then. Lovely grounds and a great price. Close / walkable to downtown. 24 hour security made us fell safe. Jeff Squires
