I have worked in a 5 star hotel myself. This hotel would be a 4 star, I give it a small 2. There are insufficient parking spaces for the number of rooms, which creates strange and dangerous parking situations and you sometimes have to park somewhere further in the village out of necessity, ( very annoying if you have difficulty walking) Upon entering, a musty smell and carpet full of large stains, bath with hair in it, toilet running through, breakfast very minimal, no fresh orange juice and after indicating that scrambled eggs, cheese and milk have run out, you can wait 15 minutes to wait. The underfloor heating, which is centrally controlled, was set to subtropical. After indicating this and the lady behind the counter nonchalantly and disinterestedly just stating that they can never do it right, our only option was to leave the sliding door open day and night. After the complaint about the hair in the bath, asking whether they have a sponge or a good cleaning cloth, the answer was; Oh no, we don't have that.(!?) However, a very nice girl came with a piece of toilet paper to get the hair out of the bath. Conclusion ; We will definitely not come back here again!

Hotelroom was okay, nice breakfast. Second night was a bit to noisy in the monring becaus of small children jumping an running on the upper floor... this was annyoing

book this hotel for its lcation near forest, hiking , biking and village life, dont book this hotel when you expect well-trained staff, fluffy towels, comfortable beds or minibars that actually work.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel during the groet uit schoorl run. The hotel seemed super busy with heaps of the runners staying here, but they organised it really well. There was a dinner buffet for the runners, they messaged me on *********** asking if I need it, guess they figured out I was attending the event by the booking dates. Love the initiative. The room is big and had a lovely view for he hotel garden. Staffs are professional, helpful and friendly.

Hotel was lovely, beatiful surroundings but parking is definitely a point of improvement as is not sized to the available amount of guests.

Really upset, first I searched hotels in Holland and specified pool, gym, spa and parking. When I arrived (already paid) I was told parking was charged at x amount and that the pool, spa and gym are closed. They really need to unspecified that they have these facilities, this caused me ad my partner a lot of upset. We spent good money and travelled from Amsterdam to be disappointed and dismissed when asking for it to be cancelled so we could look for a more suitable place. The area around it was nice just the hotel was awful and old

Wat een vies en gedateerd ‘hotel’. Medewerkers achter de balie hadden er vandaag niet veel zin in. Bij aankomst mag je in een overvolle lobby STAAN wachten tot klokslag 15:00 uur want geen minuut eerder mag je inchecken. Vervolgens betalen voor kosten die niet bekend waren €7.50 per dag voor het parkeren van je auto. Kamer stinkt naar rook en naast niet fris ook echt vies. Vreselijk vies tapijt waar je met blote voeten niet op wilt lopen. Overal schimmel, vlekken en stof. Heel attent twee papieren bekertjes bij een koffieapparaat wat niet werkt. Prijs kwaliteit van het ontbijt is schandalig. De ligging van het hotel is fantastisch vandaar de 1 ster, maar ik zou toch echt ergens anders een hotelkamer of B&B boeken of desnoods onder een brug gaan liggen, voor ons NOOIT meer. Met gierende banden naar huis!
