Cane here for a stag di and stayed at Sol House. friendly staff. pool area has chilled house music playing jn the day which creates a chilled vibe. my room was clean and spacious. a bar downstairs and plenty of space to chill either inside or out. breakfast was great, more than enough choice

This is a terrible hotel. 95% of the guests here are 18 year olds on their first holiday away from mum and dad, and as a result the hotel is more like a hostel. Teens running up and down corridors all night, throwing stuff off balconies and generally causing a nuisance. If you want to sleep then stay elsewhere!! Cleanliness of rooms isn’t very good with cockroaches in rooms and the communal areas. Rooms are tired, run down and have an awful sewage smell from the drains.

Just back from another wonderful Stay @Sol House The Studio I honestly can’t recommend this hotel highly enough or put into words the atmosphere within. Rooms great, food fab but the feel good buzz of this hotel is unreal. DJ on all weekend, foam party the list goes on. Can’t wait to get back there in September

Great hotel but.....we booked this months ago direct with Melia through their rewards programme. Asked at the time as we were 3 adults traveling together to have two rooms on same floor at least, ideally next to each other. Also emailed week before our stay. Arrived and we were no less than four floors apart. Now I fully appreciate that it's tricky to manage this but there were several large groups all together and having a solo female put on the ground floor alone wasn't great. We were told to come back next day to enquire. We were told again hotel full and nothing they could do. Then asked when we were leaving and conventially told their would be space they day before we left but then told no point for one day. There were so many people checking out the Sunday I refuse to believe they couldn't have had us closer but reception staff just didn't care. Hotel location and facilities were all great. Staff friendly and breakfast good but a hotel of that size hot having two rooms closer together I don't understand. If tiny Sotavento could do it with 5 rooms last year ....it seems Melia are a chain that's not interested because of their size

Would NOT recommend! Rooms were not cleaned properly - dirt and mess were just pushed around from one side of the room to another and used glasses were left in rooms, instead of being removed. As a married couple, we had requested a double bed but instead were given two single beds. We noticed that the bedding was not changed - the top sheets were simply pulled up, each time the room was apparently 'cleaned'. Food was terrible! Opting to pay extra for half board was a waste of money, as we had to purchase external meals every evening, as the buffet food was either tasteless, or too salty and generally unappealing. We were not made aware before booking on a half board basis that dinner did not include any drinks - not even a glass of water! Despite being marketed as a fun, lively hotel, it lacked any atmosphere or entertainment in the evenings.

A 4 night break for 5 of us from work, age ranging 37-67. We had an absolute blast. The hotel was central, clean and comfortable. No problems whatsoever. We came Sunday to Thursday so missed the younger weekend crew. The hotel was spotless. The staff were friendly on check in. Nathan was the receptionist on duty., he was a dish! You have to leave your debit card in case you trash your room, which is understandable. At my age, I didn’t have o pay an excess!!! The rooms were clean, bright and airy.we had a pool view which was great. We had a problem with our air con, but after a quick call to reception, the maintenance man was there within minutes and fixed it. Our room was cleaned daily and happily. Shower was hot with good pressure. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choice, freshly made omelettes, churros, different meats every day. We were half board but did eat out two of our four nights, (our choice), the evening buffet was absolutely fine. Different choices for everyone. The pool area was fabulous. No saving of Sun beds needed. There were sun beds all day. Pool was clean and refreshing in the hot September sunshine. They have a DJ by the pool at weekends and then a poolside playlist the other times. Madge (equivalent)from Benidorm was there whilst we were there and her and her husband complained about the music so it was up and down all day!!! We went the last weekend of September as we knew it would be nearing the end of season, we didn’t want the “hard core” party atmosphere that Maggers is normally associated with durable the high season. There was a mixed bag of ages. It was nice to be in an “adults only” hotel. This is a great hotel, with great staff.very central to all amenities. We will definitely be back. At my age, 53, I wouldn’t choose this hotel in high season. Only because I am 53 and would not want to be a party pooper on the younger ones having fun. This issue a great hotel and we will be back. On a later note, I came to this same hotel in 1985 when it was The Trinidad Sol with my mum. I can remember being ill after my mum letting me have 1 Pernod and Black

Wifi v poor in my room - which faced on to the pool of the next door hotel (Hotel Samos) Loud techno music on ground floor and at pool most of day. Music from Hotel Samos loud until 11 each night. Good price but not suitable for middle aged who like a bit of quiet.

Still on holiday here -arrived Monday night all seemed fine .. room dated and needs construction … went for a shower to finding it was blocked and water filled the room .. however this was fixed whilst we were in room .. you think problem over good .. go back in to shower at night to get a chap at the door .. what ever is wrong with the plumbing needs attention as our shower flooded 3 rooms below us down to the 2nd floor. We were told you have to move room now and we will upgrade you on the 11th of October to a sea view as hotel was full until then . This was for the inconvenience caused. Arrives to reception this morning to be informed no we aren’t getting moved or was there any note on the system .. staff were rude and unfriendly. Awaiting to see the manager as we were told sonething and they are not delivering . Also the photos on all your operators are not if this hotel .. it is misleading … there is no beach viiew or is it on the promenade … misssold via false advertising. Hotel needs lots of work and should not promise to do something then don’t care . Do not recommend here at all .

We arrived late at night, and after checking in, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly Bulgarian security guard who gave us valuable tips about the area. We stayed in a room on the fifth floor with a view of the pool. Contrary to some other reviews, and perhaps because it was the end of the season, we had no issues with excessive noise and slept well every night. The bed could have been a double, but it was actually two singles pushed together. Access to the beach is very easy, just a 2-minute walk at most. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, as was the dinner, both served buffet-style. A special thank you to Manolo, who served us with a smile every day. The hotel's pool is spectacular and very well-maintained. In short, we were delighted with our stay and would definitely return to this hotel again.

Hotel was very good, breakfast and dinner had lots of choices everyday, we had a suite which was very big and airy, it needed a little tlc but after a long summer was still okay, room cleaned daily,overall very good but may get very busy during the summer months.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone the reception staff is useless, not helpful when you need them. The day we checked in the room was dirty with stains, the manager had promised it would be cleaned and it wasn't.... they didn't clean on that day just made the bed, so what was the point of making promise for us to go to reception again and demand to be clean. Not great first day for a new guests. I must warn others people, this isn't a party hotel as advertised, there is only music by pool area, everyone with hangover... the breakfast very British, and the same every day. The hotel is for young people who likes to get wasted, a lot of screaming at night and people fighting in the corridor. Overall the location is good but no parking if you have rented car. Someone climbed on our balcony and left big bottles, the reception was useless and didn't bother to take it back to bin. Don't waste your holiday in it.

Great hotel , less than 5 minute walk to the beach or strip full of lively bars. Plenty of restaurants & quieter bars so something for everyone . Think in high season the hotel will be manic but in September it was just right for me , people of all ages were there. Fantastic selection of food. Would advise to change the balcony chairs, hard to get in & impossible to get out of ! Rooms were fine , could probably do with a tidy up but no complaints. Safe in the room & no charge . Small basic fridge to keep drinks in.

This is the second time I have stayed here for a 4 day break. The hotel has no kids which is obviously a bonus for like minded parents who want a break away from kids. The hotel had a good range of all ages. From stereotypical 18 year old lads lads lads to 60+... All in all, it's good. Clean rooms, breakfast is good with a good selection and very close to all the amenities you need. I'd definitely come back for a third time
