The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. This was the only real upside to staying here — for the cost, I was shocked by the state of the room. Old key locks and my door handle had duct tape wrapped around it. Rickety stairs to get to our room (very inaccessible) and there was a shopping cart (1) parked outside our room filled with cleaning supplies. Obviously, there had been renovations and some updates, but the cost-cutting was obvious. Room had two stacks of old dining chairs too (didn't match) — just not what I expected for almost $300 a night.
Didn't feel very clean either. There were dead bugs on the bathroom floor, microwave was very old, and one of the shelves in the minifridge was broken. And no coffee maker (although when I asked, she did get me one).
