If I had one piece of advice to anyone reading this, it would be to ignore ANY negative reviews! This may be a long one, but I'll give you the most thorough and honest review here to hopefully help those, who like myself, only book stays after I've read a few reviews to set realistic expectations. I stayed here last week with my parents for a last minute and spontaneous little get away and this place was absolutely incredible! It was my first time experiencing a stay at an all inclusive hotel and I already cannot wait to return! I have solo travelled around most of Europe, flown business class to Thailand on Emirates, and partied in Vegas whilst travelling America and I honestly hand on heart cannot say I've ever experienced such FRIENDLY- no, PHENOMENAL customer service by each and every single employee in one hotel, who never ceased to go above and beyond in every way to ensure we had a marvellous stay. First of all, everything you see on every marketed photo is exactly the same in reality and not enhanced in any way. The hotel was spotless, the perfect location with only a short walk to the beach, or a short bus or taxi journey into Palma itself. I booked a single room for myself and a double room for my parents and they both contained the comfiest bed! The shower in my room was superb as it had both a rainfall and standard shower, and I also had a great view from the balcony which overlooked planes taking off and landing from the airport nearby. Now considering Palma is an international airport, I was pleasantly surprised with the silence from the planes after midnight, so my sleep remained undisturbed. The rooms also had a great TV which contained English channels too but with all of the entertainment the hotel had to offer, TV would be a last resort. My only comments I would perhaps mention on the rooms were that the walls were a little bit thin, so if there were people getting back to the hotel after a night out at 4am, they made sure the whole floor heard about it! Fortunately, that wasn't the hotels fault, just the guests who had a little less consideration for other guests- but again, they were on holiday and having a good time so I'm not judging, and it only happened one night thankfully! As for those mentioning about the lack of air conditioning... whilst that was true for my stay last week, it was nothing to complain about as this time of year in Spain is still chilly in the evenings so aircon wasn't really needed at night and if it was, its nothing that your balcony door left open slightly won't fix. The choices of food were endless with something for everyone. Breakfast contained a mix of continental, fresh pastries and cooked breakfasts along side pancake and egg stations. We kept ourselves busy in the daytime exploring the island so only managed to have lunch once during our stay but that too was just as pleasant with fresh salads, cooked dishes, cooking stations, deserts and of course, free flow wine, beer and soft drinks. Got this cheap, read reviews b4 coming they were very mixed, its up a side street but turn the corner and your on the beach,stayed in room 305 pool view, we were A/I... food was good standard beer was fine spirits wer weak, but u can pay for branded , all staff were friendly and helpful two pools and sun beds easily got ( tho it was April) rooms are clean,just one pool table, lovly spa which is free treatments have to be booked and paid for, over all a lobly place would go back no problem.

No air con on. Complained about it manager said wasn’t hot enough. It was 82 degrees on Sunday 14th April, 77 degrees Monday 15 th April. Asked for fans , no luck. Food was warmish all meals. Staff on reception not very nice. Would not stay again.

We just completed our third year at Illusion Spa, spending five delightful days and four cozy nights. The hotel staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the housekeepers ensure spotlessly clean rooms every day. When it comes to dining, there’s always something delicious available. The soup is particularly tasty, and the prawns and mussels are simply delightful. The surrounding area is lovely, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Breakfast is a standout with its wonderful variety. While evening entertainment options are somewhat limited, there’s usually something happening, even if it’s just music in the background. The spa, although small, is an added bonus and offers great value for the experience provided. Overall, Illusion Spa continues to be a favorite destination for us, offering a relaxing and enjoyable retreat.

We had a fantastic Easter there. Staff, food, drinks everything was splendid. Plus they allowed us to check-in before 11am when we asked if we could leave our cases at reception to go for a drink and bite to eat and they gave us our wristbands. Unbelievable. Manager reception bar staff waiting staff and cleaners all excellent except the 2 blokes who had to clean the pool area. They were miserable so and so's. The Entertainment team were also great. Great banter with everyone there. Highly recommend this place.

It’s always going to new places solo that you haven’t been to before and I have to say that the staff here were absolutely welcoming and made sure I had a lovely stay and birthday I have to say a huge thank you to the entertainment team which were Rodica and Samantha , they checked on me during my stay to ensure I was having a great time and and included me in activities round the pool and I had an amazing time because of these two wonderful ladies , they are both amazing at their job and thank you for making my stay special ☺️

I think this is one of the 'you get what you pay for'. Rooms are clean and tidy, however the shower drain had a terrible stench, we covered it up with a damp towel so didn't cause much issue. Get the pool side rooms, better view, quieter, nice area to sit, beds are firm but i like that. Food we thought wasn't great, lots of fish, breakfast was probably the best meal of the day, didnt eat lunch 3 times as really didnt fancy the foods. Drinks are the local spirits, and the cups are quite small, so your drinks are either really strong, or you need to keep going up which is annoying. They are the size of kids cups... Bar staff were nice, the woman remembered my drink quickly which gets you the tips in my world. Best part is probably the price and location, $5 bus ride (not $2.50) from the airport, very close to the sea front and all the shops. Walking distance to Palma, its a nice base, if you cycle this is a great starting location. and for around £250 for 5 nights you cant moan at the price. So much so it seems they have regulars that stay for weeks on end. Would i recommend for a cheap holiday, yes Would i recommend for families, kids, nope

Totally enjoyed staying with you for the week commencing 5th March. Excellent food throughout but I did use the microwave a couple of times to warm the plate up. Entertainment was great - the Mentalist was fantastic as was Fausto. Will definitely be back. Stayed in a room over the bar and had the sun for most of the day. Clean and spacious hotel. Friendly and pleasant staff. Thank you. 😊
