About 7 years ago, I had stayed at the Auberge on my trip to the Loire. It was a quaint hotel run by a couple, Mr and Mrs Rialland. It was such a lovely place. I remember eating nightly on the exquisite cuisine by Mr Rialland, knowing this was on par with the finest dining in Paris. Now I returned with my parents and the hotel has been modernized and enlarged. The food is still amazing in the fine dining restaurant and now they added a great bistro as well. To me, this is the best place to stay while exploring the Loire. I'm sure, I will return in the future. the daily fresh macarons in your room entice me to come back sooner.
