ガロ リゾート ホテル ガルソル(Sentido Galosol)

Moderne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, tolle Lage. Top Alternative zu einem Hotel in Funchal, weil man dennoch überall schnell hinkommt. Ein Abendessen im gehobeneren Atlantis Restaurant hat sich gelohnt. Damen an der Rezeption konnten teilweise auch deutsch.

This was our second time staying at Sentido Hotels in Madeira. The first time we stayed at Sentido Galomar and now at Galosol which was equally amazing! The properties are very close by actually with a great location in Caniço, just a few minutes away from the main road which is super convenient to explore all the main spots around the island. The team was always very kind and helpful with anything we might need during our stay and we really enjoyed the stunning views from our room on the second floor facing the ocean with the “desertas islands” in the distance! The pool area is beautiful and they have a lot of lounge chairs to chill 😊 We will definitely keep returning to Madeira and we hope to stay at Sentido Hotels again in the future!

Das moderne geräumige Zimmer , die schöne Terrasse und das freundliche Personal hat uns gefallen. Das wunderschöne SPA im Galomar darf benutzt werde, leider schaut niemand zum Rechten und die egoistischen Gäste reservieren sich gleich beim Eintreten zum SPA einen Liegestuhl mit Buch und Tuch für den Rest des nachmittags, so dass alle andern Saunabesucher, die nur kurz relaxen wollen, keine Liegestuh mehr erhalten. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt, sehr schade. Zudem wurde uns einmal das Badetuch, das andere Mal der gemietete Bademantel am Haken entwendet… um mich nicht mehr aufzuregen, habe ich dann auf den SPA verzichtet, was ja nicht die Idee ist. Das Buffet zum Nachtessen mag um 18 Uhr frisch sein, aber wenn man später reservieren möchte, haben wir nur noch um 20 Uhr eine Tisch erhalten, obwohl der Raum fast leer war. Leider war dann das Buffet nicht mehr so frisch und um 20.45 wurde bereits abgeräumt, was nicht sehr gemütlich ist. Das Preis- Leistungsangebot nach meinen Erfahrungen stimmt nicht. Aber vielleicht bezahlen wir Schweizer wieder mal einiges mehr?

Hospitalidade excelente, realçando a Senhora Teresa da receção que foi muito simpática e prestável, inclusive mostrando-nos onde ficava o quarto e mostrando-se sempre pronta a ajudar Hotel em excelentes condições e muito limpo. Buffet pequeno-almoço e jantar com variadas opções e muito boas.

Hotel was amazing! So many things to do and we always look forward to coming back after a very busy day. The staff, Teresa and Barbara (front of house) were amazing and very accommodating! I mean everyone in the front of house are amazing but these ladies were outstanding. Claudia (from Galo Fitness) for some reasons she was always in (not complaining at all) whenever we make a booking for the indoor pool and sauna and we love how she knows it’s us calling hahaha we love spending the rest of our evening in Capoeira bar where there is always live music and it’s next to the sea, it really is a perfect spot for downtime and just relax with a wide selection of drinks, from wines to cocktails. Will definitely be coming back to Sentido Hotels. We stayed Galosol so maybe we will try Galomar next! (ROOM 4610) ❤️

This hotel is in a beautiful location and fantastic access to the ocean. The staff are all wonderful and willing to help at any given moment. The hotel is incredibly allergy friendly with the majority of their foods being labelled with allergies present. There is so much on offer (at an extra fee) including racket sports, spa and massages, diving and hiking!

Complexe hôtelier très bien équipé (piscine intérieure + extérieur, plusieurs restaurants, accès à la mer surveillée, club de plongée, sauna, bain turc, salle de sport avec coach et cours...), petit déjeuner varié et complet, très bonne situation géographique...

The location of the hotel is great if you appreciate a sea view and don't mind to be quite far from Funchal. The pool area is also nice although it was empty in the beginning of January (cold pool water and not optimal weather for sunbathing). There are good fitness facilities although the indoor pool area is not very inviting. Be aware that you need to book everything separately and well in advance (indoor pool, saunas, fitness classes, restaurant tables, spa...). Breakfast is very good. There is something for everyone. Restaurant Atlantis was also good. Unfortunately the spa was a bit of a disappointment: expensive, not very cozy interior design and the massage I had was just petting. The masseuse also seemed to be in a hurry which didn't improve the experience. Many good things but also many details missing from a five star experience.

Hotel ótimo para relaxar. 10 Gostou · As instalações do hotel são todas novas. Vimos que passou por uma renovação de pintura, piso, móveis. Quando entramos no quarto sentimos cheiro de quarto novo. O serviço dos funcionários são excelentes. Sempre prestativos e falam o idioma local (português), bem como inglês, dutch e outros. Comunicação não será um problema. A limpeza e o capricho do lugar é ímpar! O café da manhã é variado, e ainda podes usufruir de uma vista do nascer do sol encantador! As piscinas são ótimas e nunca estão cheias. O Spa é perfeito para relaxar antes de deixar o hotel. Tens sauna escandinava e banho turco. Altamente recomendável.
