Blu Hotel Morisco

I won't be too critical, nor will I be too complimentary. The location, and pool, in the Blu Hotel Morisco, are about it's best attributes. Room, and general hotel bathrooms are clean, but not a lock worked anywhere, apart from the room, and the bathrooms are not exactly aiming for spectators. Breakfast, which was highlighted as being exceptional, was anything but, sufficient at best. Great pool, great location, staff were, on the most part, very friendly, but they need to invest some money in maintaining the place.

We really enjoyed the Blu hotel Morisco. The amenities were great, the shower and fridge were excellent and the bed very comfortable. The balcony was also excellent. The service here was always fantastic, nice to see some young and smiling faces, who were pleasant to chat to. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with great coffee options, barista or machine made. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Free parking is just in front of the hotel. Half board is okay and standard

Een hotel waar zo ongeveer alles oud en kapot is. Bij twee van de drie damestoilets lag de bril eraf. De ingang (schuifdeuren) kapot, op de kamer alles oud en het stapelbed is geschikt voor kinderen tot 12 jaar, zo klein. Handdoeken voor het zwembad daar moet je voor betalen, 3 euro per stuk, iedere keer als je een schone wilt. Ontbijt is matig, veel bakken leeg en er wordt geen enkel leeg bord op tafel meegenomen. Voor lekkere koffie moet je een kwartier in de rij. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar Max 2 sterren i.p.v. 4…Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Great hotel, well maintained in a very good location. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was tasty. Highly reccommend it!

We were here for several nights here as part of a tour group from Riviera Travel in UK on a half board basis. The hotel was optimistically self-rated as 4* and was perfectly adequate, if rather impersonal. The food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were of average size and well-appointed. Our tour guide, Denise, was particularly helpful and smoothed the way with any language issues. Thank you.

We stayed here a few nights before moving to another part of Sardinia. Beds comfortable and the room kept very clean. Great breakfasts, and the evening meal we had there was really good. A couple of minor niggles. No kettle in room, which we know isn't guaranteed. But the safe played up a bit. Recommend you don't leave getting valuables out to pack last minute. In our short stay we had to get someone to open ours twice. Not a problem if you know! On Monday mornings there is a great market right outside the hotel. Worth a look. Nice stroll down to the marina, and a supermarket not far away. Enjoyed it there.

We arrived around noon and our room was not yet ready. After a warm welcome, we were ushered through to the bar area, where Nicholas provided us with drinks and snacks. After a short wait we were shown to our (upgraded) room, which was very comfortable and faced away from the ocean. The room was cleaned every day. The restaurant (run by Luca and his team) was spacious and the buffet food was excellent. There was plenty of choice and the dessert bar was very popular. The staff were all charming and very efficient. After dinner each night, we retired to the bar, where Nicholas, Simone, Shaima and Sara quenched our thirst. From Friday to Sunday evenings, we were also entertained by a talented singer. During the day, the pool area had plenty of sun beds and there were separate tables at which to enjoy a coffee or cooling beverage or read a book. Our holiday was good value for the money and we found the place very relaxing. There were plenty of shops, cafes, pasticerias, bars and restaurants in the vicinity, within a short walking distance. Public transport did not run throughout the day; so it was necessary to set off before 08:00 and return later in the afternoon. It was excellent value though. We visited Porto Cervo, Arzachena, and Palau by bus and La Madalena by Ferry. There is a Tourist Office across the street from the hotel and a market is held outside on Mondays.

This was our return visit. There have been changes such as no free for all with the wine for dinner (which is good in a way as last year people were over doing it. Food was excellent and plentiful. Reception staff brilliant and really helpful. Waiting staff attentive and helpful as before. Good standard of rooms , clean and well kept. Cannigione didn't disappoint. Bit of advice: don't get towels from reception. It's a non refundable €20 charge, hopefully will be back.
