We had a lovely stay for two days in Relais del lago. Wonderful wellequipped family room. Excellent ala carte breakfast prepared at our ”own” table. Excellent pool area. Rural Toscany at its best. Service was excellent

Lovely property that we stayed for one night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was superb and helped us cool down and relax after a long day travelling. Breakfast was really good the next morning and served with some locally produced goods. Great place to stay. Exactly as advertised.

The location of the hotel was very peaceful with an excellent swimming pool, very friendly and welcoming staff. A first class restaurant attached to the hotel and an excellent trattoria 5 minutes walk away make dining a real pleasure. Our room was not luxurious but very comfortable and somewhat quirky, given its age and having been converted from a farm building.

It was a beautiful property and is lovingly cared for. It was clean and comfortable. The hostess of the property was incredible. The restaurant on the property was great. The food was great and the service excellent. I would highly recommend this property.

We recently stayed at Relais Del Lago for a friend's wedding. It was amazing. The staff were incredible, attentive and patient considering a large majority of the wedding party were English speaking. They decorated the venue beautifully for the event, provided breakfasts for the guests and made the whole weekend very special. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and well looked after. Would definitely recommend.

Relais del Lago is a charming, family-run country hotel with gorgeous views over the Tuscan countryside. It’s only a short drive from Lucca but feels a world away from the tourist hustle and bustle. (It’s also only 40 minutes from Pisa airport.) The swimming pool is as enticing as it appears in the photos and the grounds are full of birdlife. We stayed in the spa suite which has its own sauna and jacuzzi, and a terrace overlooking the pool. We had a late flight so the owners let us use another room for a very reasonable day rate. There’s a very good Japanese/Italian restaurant on site. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Heerlijk aankomen in deze B&B. Ontzettende vriendelijke eigenaresse. Je kan aan haar heel veel tips vragen. Behulpzaam tot en met. Er is een koelkast in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar je dranken kan kiezen. Het zwembad is groot genoeg en er zijn genoeg ligbedjes in de tuin aanwezig. Ontbijten doe je onder een pergola. Je geeft aan op een lijst wat je wil eten en dan wordt het door de familie naar je toe gebracht. De kamer en badkamer zijn ontzettend netjes. Heb ik al gezegd hoe gezellig en vriendelijk men er is? Je kan avondeten in het restaurantje naast de B&B of op 3 min wandelen in een ander lieflijk restaurant.
