Very warm welcome, friendly people, beautiful room with good beds, breakfast is perfect and the location also, would highly recommend!

The location of the accommodation is extremely good, Dunkley square also provides entertainment in the evening, while the city center is a few minutes' walk away (during the day). The a**osphere of the rooms is great, the view of the Table Mountain from the rooms with a balcony is fantastic (not all rooms face the mountain, and they don't have a balcony either, but they are larger and have a refrigerator). The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff is extraordinary. We'll be back!

The hotel manager Ruth is great! Totally friendly and helpful. The rooms are very small, a little old and could use a refresh. The furniture, at least in the wintergarden, was also very frail. However, the view of Table Mountain and the good location made up for a lot. The service was sometimes good but also sometimes bad-tempered and very forgetful. We always had to be reminded of drinks or food that were still missing.

The room looks directly over a car park and has a pub and restaurant about 100m away. It is incredibly noisy until at least 2am. There is no privacy so one has to keep the curtains drawn all day and night. this makes the room dark. The sun beats on the room all day, so the heat is unbearable. There is no air-conditioning so the fan blows hot air around. My bathroom smelt so terrible I could not use it. The wi-fi didn't work properly, so I couldn't use my devices. There was no bar fridge and the kitchen closed at 6pm. I walked to buy some milk, but it was off by the next morning. The breakfast was so below standard, I can't believe anyone raved about it. It was the worst experience ever.

Very clean, good a la carte breakfast with a delicious selection to choose from, great friendly staff. Only request is a mini-bar in the room, but overall incredible experience. We will definitely book there again. :-)

Provides a lodge feeling in town! I enjoyed the view (across the quiet parking lot) of the Table Mountain and Lion's Head each morning and could easily walk to the Jewish Museum, the Company Gardens, the National Gallery, the Kloof Street, and Downtown. Great location, very friendly staff, good beds, basic bathroom, fine breakfast.

This has been the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. I was unfortunately mugged during my stay in Cape Town and the staff went out of their way to help in every way possible. Ruth, the manager, was so compassionate and supportive. She helped me in every possible way. I have never received customer service like this. Amazing staff, amazing manager, and amazing hotel!! They genuinely care about your experience and well being. 100% will be back again!!

Ruth and the team went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful and to make me feel at home. The location is amazing central to town with incredible mountain views. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

Location, rooms, surrounding, breakfast and the service was an experience. Some nights it was a bit noisy from the bars but all in all it was great to be there. Thanks a lot to the very friendly and helpful staff.
