ザ ラスト ワード コンスタンチア(The Last Word Constantia)

Sadly our itinerary only allowed for a one night stay at this tranquil oasis in Constantia. The hotel is enclosed by well manicured “tropical gardens” which includes a swimming pool. Our room was huge and opened up directly into the gardens. The staff are charming and can’t do enough for you. The peace and quiet meant that we enjoyed our best nights sleep of our holiday. Be sure to visit this property located a short drive from central Cape Town

Fabulous one night stay (wish was longer) after arriving from London. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and the suite was lovely. Being able to walk through to a restaurant called Peddlars next door (not part of hotel) for dinner was just really easy, as there is a secure gate to the hotel. We will most definitely be back!

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The service was brilliant and they were very accommodating when we first arrived after a lot of traveling and were too early for check in. The breakfasts were great and the garden area was very pretty. We’d definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were so spacious and beautifully done, and the property was gorgeous. The garden and pool were so relaxing to spend our downtime, we were sad that we didn’t have a longer stay because we would’ve loved to spend additional days of our trip here. The food was delicious and the service was so great. We loved John & Grey - will definitely come again on our next visit to Capetown!

This hotel truly felt like our Cape Town home for the week. It's very small, only 9 rooms, and as a consequence the guys who work there do become friends for the stay. It's a breakfast only place, no lunches or dinners but there's a restaurant literally next door called Pedlars which isn't fine dining but you can order a wide range of menu items and they'll bring it to you, whether you're by the ( very nice but big enough) pool or your room. That's what they did whilst we waited for our room to be got ready as we'd arrived very early from London. The rooms are gorgeous, not stupidly uber lux but sooo comfortable with everything you need and are super spacious all with a patio or balcony overlooking the pool. There's an honesty bar in the hotel which has everything you might want including some very nice wines. While we were there they organised for us to spend half a day at the Last Word Long Beach, which as the name suggests is a similarly gorgeous place overlooking the best surfing beach in the Cape. Last Word Constantia is definitely our favourite hotel on the planet, we definitely want to go and stay at their other hotels in SA.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Last Word Constantia. Kim, Gray and the team were absolutely lovely. It is quiet and peaceful, making it a very relaxing experience. The rooms are large and really comfortable. We wish we’d booked an extra night. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

I had not stayed here , but my clients did and they loved it . I had the great pleasure of speaking to Sam when I wanted to surprise my clients with a delivery. He was so helpful and not only recieved the delivery and put it in my clients room , but he also printed out a special note from me ,and let me know once it was in the room What great service, I can only imagine that a guest is always taken care of and has an out of the world experience I will definitely recommend them to my clients to book and hopefully visit soon , myself !

What a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Constantia. Just a few rooms. I think I had the most basic one, and it was amazing. Huge room, living area, complimentary mini bar, stand alone bath tub, etc... Very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Wish I had spent more than a night here.
