ザ ラスト ワード ロング ビーチ(The Last Word Long Beach)

We went expecting a five star experience, and in the main we received it. The suite was stunning, the service top-class, and the service next level. Unfortunately the food did not achieve the same quality level. We ordered the seafood platter which required an extra cost, and it was tasteless and unappetizing. If the food was as five star as everything else this might have been a great experience.

Everything was average and not wat we expected. The breakfast was good but nothing special. The dinner is included and was very average. The fish dishes were also very average. The beach and location is nice. I would not go back there as it was rather expensive and very average. If you run such an establishment the attention to details from the staff and manager (we did not see one!) are key, and unfortunately failed to impress.

Perfection at its best. My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at The Last Word and only wish we had booked for longer. As soon as we walked through the door we felt so relaxed. The place is stunning. Attention to detail is exceptional and the staff are so friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. The food and drinks are delicious too. As for the views (from all the rooms) well that takes your breath away. Beautiful white sand, aqua blue ocean staring back at you. If you are looking for that place look no further. One day we will return to this piece of heaven. To all the staff “a very sincere thank you” you are all doing a fantastic job.

this is such a wonderful place just right at the beach with very spacious rooms and an excellent crew that makes you feel like in paradise - thank you to the whole team for being such great hosts, and spoiling us every day starting from breakfast to the after dessert in the room!

Amazing small hotel, about 6 rooms - luxury from step one when we drove in - service was personal and perfect - breakfast and dinner customized to our needs and the views from every rooms stunning. We where a little hungry when we arrived and the staff made us grilled cheese to hold us over until dinner! We'd return again and again!

We stayed for 4 days at the start of our trip,the beach was quite simply stunning.Super relaxed atmosphere it was the perfect place to chill after the long flight with stunning views from the near perfect rooms and first class casual dining and service

I love understated perfection, those places that don’t shout about being brilliant because they live and breathe excellent every day and know and love what they do. Jackie, Fanie and every member of the Last Word Long Beach team are masters in the art of looking after their guests, nothing is too much trouble and the friendly easygoing nature is infectious. The property is beautifully presented, perfectly reflecting the beach location, light, bright and relaxing. The large rooms offer comfy beds, lots of places to just sit and let the ocean wash away your worries and a complimentary gin bar! The kitchen produces truly delicious dishes and nothing is hurried! We loved our three nights and just wished we had been able to stay longer, we were very sad to say goodbye. Thank you 😊

The warmness and kindness of all the staff made our stay so special. Fanie and Jackie are fantastic and accommodating. The junior suite was beautiful, clean, had all the amenities you need with a lovely view of the mountains. Good food, too! Thank you

Sometimes it's just the simple things that make ur stay pleasurable. If there's a small lack of something it's made up by another thing which over exceeds standards. Wat a pleasure it was to stay here and absorb the small town of Kommetjie. The whole team are just special
