Amazing hosts and a very beautiful location. Yohan and the staff are delightful.

Beautifully room « indigo », quiet area. Rooftop with beautyful panoramic view. Warm welcome and lots of tips about the area, restaurants, and everything we wanted to know. Best breakfast with freshly baked bread, fruits, eggs and everything. Were able to store the luggage all day, Yoann organized the taxi for us tot he airport. We were completely happy with this choice, thank you. Will definitely return when in SA.

Home from home. Well situated, fabulously friendly owners and staff. Scrupulously clean, attractively quirky. They go the extra mile here, in every way and help you gain an insider’s view. My room for this visit, had a sweet little sitting out area, with gorgeous, colourful planting. Now if a fridge - full of ice, had been anywhere nearby …. I’d probably have over-indulged in the Cape’s finest!

Situated in 2 lovely authentic houses in Bokaap, a nice colorful neighborhood. Well situated. Has a great rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of Tafelberg. Few minutes to hop on hop off bus. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with freshly baked bread. Clean rooms with AC. Not much cupboard space

I stayed around 6 days in La Rose B&B. The best breakfast with freshly baked bread, beautiful mornings on a terrace, comfy bed, clean room, very friendly staff and the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met Yoann-host of the guest house. I felt very comfortable, secure and welcomed. Even though it was my first solo trip to completely unfamiliar place. Thank you Capetown! Thank you La Rose B&B!

There are a bunch of selling points for La Rose B&B. The owners and staff are very friendly; during my stay one of the owners made a point to chat with the guests during breakfast. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area's attractions and freely gave suggestions about where to go sightseeing or to go eat. The breakfast wasn't elaborate but was still exceptional in that much of it, including bread, muffins, muesli, yogurt, preserves, and marmalade were all made in-house. The dining room itself was beautiful, as were the rooms (because of some booking mix ups on my part I got to stay in three different ones). The location is also a selling point. Even though it's in a cozy neighborhood, it's still very close to a lot of the best the city center has to offer. It is located a short walk to the eateries on Long and Bree Streets as well as to the shops and shopping at the de Waterkant/ Cape Quarter area. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay, it is in an old house that has character. The owners are really friendly and we enjoyed good conversations with them. We even could use their breakfast room one day when it was too rainy to use their roof terrace. If you like older properties with little nooks and crannies and some steps here and there and nice fixed up rooms then this is your place. Lots of plants around as well. On the whole: good stay, we can recommend the place.

When you mention Cape Town, you probably think of Table Mountain, sunshine, wine and the colours of Bo-Kaap. Well, amidst the 'colours' lies a bed and breakfast with a perfect location, secure entrance, friendly service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast (with the best marmalade jam I've ever had!) and a great host in Yoann who is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and engaging. A genuinely nice guy. Finally, he also gave me the number of a local guide, Madeeg, whom is from Bo-Kaap. I very highly recommend him. He's friendly, knowledgeable, professional, punctual and tall so you'll feel very safe with him at all times. Just ask Yoann for his number because he's the perfect guide for Cape Town. And so is La Rose for your accommodation in this beautiful city because this B&B really is more than just colour.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Rose where we welcomed by Yoann. Yoann is a great host who took time to give us some local tips which was really appreciated. We also enjoyed the shared breakfast with other guests where we were able to learn more on how things go in South Africa and Cape Town specifically thanks to Yoann. It was also nice to be able to talk French with Yoann. It was the perfect way for us to end our almost 4 week honeymoon through South Africa. Breakfast was also amazingly good!
