Magnifique. Très bel endroit. Le manoir est exceptionnel et le service impeccable.

This is our second time visiting Sanbona and it exceeded our first experience. The staff was great and very accommodating. We found the food and drink offerings to be far more inclusive and expansive this time around. We want to give a shout out to the entire team for making this a great vacation.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. We stayed at Dwyka, which was amazing from start to finish, so wonderfully welcomed and taken care of by Monica and the staff. The tented lodges were beautiful, so much attention to detail. The food and wine (included) were delicious. We loved our guide Ethan who took us on 4 drives where we saw everything we had hoped to see, only so much closer up that we had thought before we went. The animals were amazing, but so was the scenery and the vastness of the sky. I've bored my friends to death with how great this place was since we came home!

This is our 2nd time here, staying at Gondwana lodge. Cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience, from start o finish . The welcome , the accommodation with its views down to the dam , the food is excellent, as is the service ( shout out to our fantastic waiter Angus) Food and wine are included. And then there is the wildlife , we were lucky enough to see Lion, Elephants, Giraffe, Baboon , Hippo, Rhino, Kudu, Springbok, Eland, and were privileged enough to be taken walking across the bush to view a cheetah up close, a once in a lifetime experience. Good knowledgeable rangers. Never more than 2 vehicles looking at any animal . 4 of us had massages with the wonderful Norue, a great post game drive experience. Cannot wait to return .

From the moment we arrived at Gondwana Family Lodge, we were impressed by the beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the service. This lodge offers not just a place to stay, but a true safari experience that exceeds all expectations. A special mention must go to Johann, the lodge manager, whose attention to detail and genuine care for each guest made our stay so memorable. Johann went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It's clear that he takes great pride in the lodge and its guests. Our guide, Sian, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife and the local ecosystem was infectious, and his expert knowledge made every game drive an exciting learning experience. He knew just where to find the animals and was always eager to share fascinating facts about the flora and fauna. We felt completely safe in his hands, and his ability to tailor the experience to our interests truly made each excursion unique. The moment we found the Cheetah and witnessed the hunt of a Springbok will stay in our memories forever! I would also highly recommend the spa treatments available at the lodge. The massage was incredible—perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The tranquil setting, combined with skilled therapists, made it a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate. In short, Gondwana Family Lodge offers the perfect combination of luxury, adventure, and incredible service. We left with our hearts full and our minds buzzing with the incredible memories we made. Amazing experience - words cannot describe it! We spent 3 nights at Dwyka Lodge as part of a 9 night trip to South Africa with friends for my husband’s 60th birthday. In the 6 game drives we went on, we saw all the animals we could have hoped to see - and more! Our ranger Josh was excellent at finding the animals each day, and his wealth of knowledge was phenomenal. It was so interesting to learn about each species and to understand about the conservation work at Sanbona. Thank you so much, Josh. The staff at Dwyka looked after us very well, especially Monica. We had lovely food and excellent wine. Nothing was too much trouble. And the luxury tented lodges were incredible. I would 100% recommend Sanbona to anyone looking for a safari holiday.
