We truly don’t have enough words to express our gratitude to The Landmark Hotel and their incredible staff for making our wedding weekend absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth, care, and professionalism — it genuinely felt like the entire hotel was celebrating with us. We booked The Landmark Hotel, not only as our venue but also as the home base for our friends and family, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The event team was phenomenal, Special Mention to Ciara, AnnMarie and Cathal. They worked closely with us in the months leading up to the big day, handling every detail — large and small — with so much attention and calm. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and beautifully. The reception area was elegant and romantic, the dedicated bar for our guests was the perfect setting to get the party started. The ballroom was beautifully laid out and the food… wow. Our guests are still talking about the dinner and late-night snacks! To anyone considering The Landmark Hotel for their wedding or special event: don’t hesitate. You’ll be in the best hands. I was staying near hotel for few days with family from abroad, we decided visit hotel for dinner as it looked quite fancy from outside. I ordered the Prime Irish Hereford beef burger, pulled Jack & Coke brisket, must say it was best burger I’ve ever tasted delicious. For dessert I had apple pie which I enjoyed, one family member had Pavola Which she found frozen inside couldn’t finish in Staff were lovely and friendly. Price very reasonable Lovely clean hotel

From beginning to end our three day break was of a very high standard. Top class food and accommodation underpinned by friendly, professional service from an amazing staff. Very nice touch when Kieran, one of the owners introduced himself to us.

Our room was large and accommodated our family of 4 really well however we noticed lots of stains on the carpets, the decorative blanket on one of the beds had very visible makeup splashed on it also. There are no sockets by bed or mirrors which is awkward. The toilet seat was falling off too. Breakfast was disappointing. It took us 4 attempts and about 40 mins to get the coffee we asked for when we arrived for breakfast and the breakfast itself was very average and very little choice. When we informed the reception desk that housekeeping had come into our room unannounced before we had checked out they were very blasé. I heard another couple checking out also mentioned their disappointment with the cleanliness of their room. I also plugged my hairdryer into a socket that then started to smell of burning, and the port for the TV cable was hanging off which isn't very safe.This hotel needs renovation it's tired and very average. Definitely won't be going back and it's not a cheap option either.

Fabulous stay from start to finish , Ciara went above and beyond to make our stay extra special so we decided to stay extra night . Room beautiful comfy bed and breakfast was lovely loads of choice . Lovely base for few days away will Def be back

We just returned from the hotel from our 2 night stay. It was our 1st time in Carraig on Shannon and it won’t be our last. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable beds, really friendly staff and great food and wine. Its location was gorgeous and we were even upgraded to Shannon view rooms. We did the moon cruise which left from across the road and it was great craic altogether. We ate in the hotel one night which was superb and at the buffalo boy another. Wow! I highly recommend this. Great music in lots of the bars. Well done to all the tidy town committee and all who keep the town so clean!! It didn’t go unnoticed. We will definitely be back to the landmark.
