ホテル モナグイロ デ ゲセマニ(Hotel Monaguillo de Getsemani)

The hotel has very kind and careful people on its team, to whom we are grateful, with the exception of one of the employees who was extremely disrespectful when dealing with me personally, except for the mistake of the name Raissa. We arrived at 1:30 in the morning and I couldn't take a shower because the shower didn't have hot water or enough pressure. At 7:00 am, I indicated the problem and was told that it would be resolved in a few minutes. From then on, it was a nightmare: one maintenance employee, two maintenance employees and nothing to resolve effectively. We were told we would change rooms. It was already at 9am and nothing had been resolved. The employee Raissa questioned the fact that there was no pressure in the shower or hot water, despite her colleagues having already exposed the situation, insinuating that we were seeking undue advantage by changing rooms (previously, she showed us a room opposite the leisure area/swimming pool and which we could only enter after 12:00 pm: and I hadn't managed to take a shower yet). It was necessary to confront her directly and make her turn on the shower water in our presence in the room. Total nonsense. Finally, we were authorized to change rooms and this cost us another 2 hours of waiting (we later understood that they also carried out maintenance in the other room so that there would be hot water and adequate pressure in the water drop). We lost a morning in this unpleasant situation.

Room was very small and photos online are definitely deceiving but the bathroom is clean and the area is great for tourists and close to the walled city. Good location.

The kindness of the staff. The entire hotel smelled like a spa.

I loved the customer service and security. Everyone was kind and helpful. Great for solo travelers!

There was no running water in our room meaning no shower, brushing teeth or flushing the toilet. Then they refused to give us a refund. Finally the offered us to stay at their sister hotel after we had already made other arrangements. Absolutely terrible.

Would rather not leave a bad review, but our bathroom was continually covered in toilet water from a leaking toilet, and we had to ask to replace a comforter with an odd stain on it. The hotel refused to compensate us for any of this. The toilet really made for an unpleasant stay. It looks like the hotel has only tried to add more caulk to the base of the toilet, but that's not enough to stop the leak.

Excellent location if you want to be close and walkin distance to "FUN", with bars, restaurant and dancing. It's pretty busy people walking on these small streets but all are tourists from all over the world. It's a small hotel, bed and breakfast type but very nice rooms. I didn't like the breakfast area being on the open area of the roof though due to the heat. Breakfast choices were excellent, more than a continental type and they cook it for you to your liking. Overall good for a short 2 to 3 day stay.

Hotel is on a narrow street with barely enough room for another car to get by when you’re getting in or out of vehicles. Staff is excellent and accommodating. Hotel has a musty smell in the lobby. I would suggest a grab bar be placed in the shower, and a medium-sized trash can in the bedroom. Overall, this was a good experience.

Perfect for a long city weekend! Highly recommendable.
