Excellent place all round!

Spent a wonderful 5 nights at this property . Excellent communication prior to stay Warm welcome on arrival Helpful staff Clean Comfortable room Tasty breakfast each morning - great coffee! Good location. Super helpful hotel. Very accommodating with holding on to our luggage and helping us with tea at night. We heard the party bus a few times but it magically got quiet when it was time to sleep. Efficient AC. Comfortable bed. The welcome juice is very appreciated! There is no hot water but they warned us many times and we knew about it. The bathroom is a bit run down but we understand it’s an old building. Breakfast could use some improvement (pancakes were very sad). More fruits would be welcome.

What a fabulous stay. All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and Cristian especially was such a gem. Nothing was too much trouble. Great rooftop area with views of the castle. The hotel is just beautifully decorated and rooms big, cool and comfortable. Excellent location, would highly recommend.

The place is nice but the entrance is a bit annoying and out of the way. You have to ring a bell to come in and have the staff open the door to get out. No big deal but I wish I could just come and go as I please without having to bother anyone.

Pros: great location for exploring Getsemani, super friendly staff, affordable, rooftop terrace, free breakfast was served, and having a check out time of 1pm was really nice. Cons: wifi didn’t work in our room for majority of the time and room doesn’t block out sound from outside so it’s a little difficult for light sleepers in the early morning and night. *no hot water, but the lukewarm water was definitely not a problem with the hot climate of Cartagena

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Breakfast was perfect to start the day.. coffee…fantastic. We throughly enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi. One thing is there is no hot water in the shower.. apparently this is in the entire area.. cool showers were great and definitely not a deterrent for a return stay. Staff and owner very accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely stay here if we come back to Cartagena. Highly recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews here and the location. The room was very comfortable. The staff was great. The location was prefect ... easy walking to everything, but not noisy at night. I would definitely stay here again. It is true that there is no hot water, but in this climate the cold water is not too cold. After an afternoon of walking around, the shower temperature was just fine.
