Good points: all the staff is very friendly and is always ready to help you. Breakfast, even if served by a hotel employee because of Covid-related restrictions, has a good variety. The location is also a strong point, just a few minutes' walk from the Reggia di Caserta, including some rooms overlooking the palace. The free parking, although uncovered, was very comfortable as it was directly in front of the building.
To improve: we could not take a shower because it was doubly damaged: the accumulated limescale was blocking the water flow from the head-shower and it was not possible to direct the jet to the hand one, the only option would be to rely on a very low pressure and having the bathroom completely wet as the water went everywhere but where it was supposed to go. The bathroom countertop was badly damaged, as a result of the unprotected wood used in its composition and the very humid room. The mattress, in my opinion very hard, was not comfortable and the bunk-bed slipped on my side.
The switch, a digital type, flicked on and off from time to time at night, which woke me up constantly. And finally, as we were very tired, we decided to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant. My husband was pleased with the dish he chose but I ordered a gnocchi medallion and the portion was actually really small, better suited for a tasting menu or a multi-course dinner.
Overall, if location is important to you and your stay is just one night, this hotel might be a good choice.
