キンタ ダ メイア エイラ(Quinta da Meia Eira)

Susana, Francisco and their wonderful team made this a brilliant few days in Faial. Lovely location, great beds, wonderful grounds and a salt water pool to cool down in. Maybe not for the younger generation who need more action but frankly they aren’t going to find that in Horta anyway. We came to see whales and to relax and both those boxes were ticked. We so enjoyed our stay here. A very beautiful property,- a little paradise - with a most welcoming, generous, knowledgable host. Also a delicious, abundant breakfast every morning; many of the fruits served were harvested on the property We did not want to leave! We will always remember our time here.

A cute B&B hosted by a really likeable owner. Breakfast is various and tasty. I was overwhelmed of the huge garden with 250 different plants! The owner planned and did everything himself. I visited some botanical gardens during my visit of the Azores, but no one could compare with this private garden.

The property is beautiful - the views are the best, the property is full of plants, flowers, trees and birds, the staff always were on point helping with outings. I could go on - the room was beautiful, the pool, bird watching (plenty to do) — all outstanding.

Nice place to stay! Friendly owner ho takes the time to shows his paradise! Good breakfast with many local products. I will recommend this place for sure. Good place to visit the island, close to Caphalinos and the beautiful Caldeira. See you soon.

Wunderschön gelegene Unterkunft. Mehrere Wohnungen/Apartments auf einem schön gelegen Gartengrundstück. Zweckmäßig ausgestattete Wohnung, sehr sauber mit kleiner Veranda am Eingang. Das Frühstück wurde in einem Gemeinschaftsraum in Büffetform angeboten und war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Netter Vermieter, der auch gute Tipps beisteuert. Blick aufs Meer und im Hintergrund die Insel Pico mit gleichnamigen Vulkan.

Een superfijne, heel rustig gelegen b&b, dit verblijf heeft een groot domein met tuin, zwembad, fruit-moestuin, je mag overal rondstruinen. Heel ruime kamer, goed en groot bed. Super heerlijk en vers ontbijtbuffet, alles van eigen tuin en boerderij (van de eikes, melk, kaas, fruit…) Ondanks dat het vlakbij de luchthaven ligt merk je hier weinig van, ‘s avonds zijn er geen vluchten en in de dag ben je zelf op stap, dus geen last van. Echt een topper!

Wat een paradijsje op het eiland Fajal! Heel sfeervol met een prachtige tuin! Liggend op een heerlijk bedje bij het zwembad is het heerlijk weg dromen, uitkijkend over landelijke omgeving en de oceaan. De eigenaar is alleraardigst en weet veel te vertellen over de natuur etc. Het ligt vlakbij de luchthaven maar wij hebben dat niet als vervelend ervaren.
