Good service. Room is a little bit small with a double bed and a single bed. Nice and tidy, though.

A stunning hotel in a great location. We attended a concert nearby in the castle which was just a few minutes away by foot and despite the hotel being near to the pubs and clubs on st Mary street we didn't hear a thing from our room. There was a slight mix up at check in with a double charge but this was all sorted with a quick message to trip.com. I would definitely recommend.

Staff were very warm and friendly Location is good Digital check in and out , very efficient.

tayed at Clayton Hotel Cardiff for a weekend and it was excellent. The location is perfect — right next to Cardiff Central Station and just a short walk to Principality Stadium and the city centre. The room was modern, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly staff and a good breakfast selection. Great value for a 4-star hotel in the heart of Cardiff. Would definitely stay again!

Our overall stay at Clayton Hotel Cardiff was nice. The breakfast was enjoyable , the room was comfortable, and the team who helped us with slippers and temperature control were very helpful and polite. We also asked if we could get additional bottled water, and the gentleman politely confirmed it was no issue. Unfortunately, our experience was completely tarnished during checkout. When we called the front desk to kindly request bottled water before leaving, the lady on duty was unnecessarily blunt and ordered us to "come down and collect it from reception" she neither said please nor she explained the reason to come and collect, which was very rude lacking customer service. When my husband went down to collect it and he politely asked if it was complimentary, she responded with a very sarcastic tone and fake smile, claiming guests are only allowed two bottles per stay—something completely contrary to what we were told the previous day. To make matters worse, while checking out, we noticed her warmly asking other guests how their stay was, yet she completely ignored us and offered no standard courtesy. As fellow guests, her arrogant and condescending attitude left a very bitter taste at the end of what was otherwise a good stay.

Great locating and friendly staff. Hotel was clean, quiet and had all the amenities needed for my stay. I wiod definitely recommend staying at the hotel.

Room very clean. Staff are nice, assisted in getting taxi and considerate with late check-in due to taxi problem at the airport. Breakfast average.

staff are good and helpful.. i changed my room to executive one by paying small amount. only problem is that they dont have there own parking and nearest available parking to me was 10 minutes walk. other than that everything was fine..

Hotels location is ideal for a city break. Not sure the extra for a high floor was worth it, I wouldn’t class a 2 finger kitkat as snacks! We’re not told what time or where breakfast was on check-in or asked how our stay was at check out. Breakfast was mediocre at best, sausages were black, had to wait 10mins for bacon which was then quite fatty.

Location is extremely good closed to Cardiff station. Room is big. Clean bed. Restaurant looks good. Is one of good choice to stay in Cardiff.

Good location but can het loud music from the strip

Excellent hotel, been a couple of times now, really enjoy the central location, breakfast is very good. Rooms lovely
