Beautiful scenery, friendly people and nice town. Loved the vibes of this place. Small towns are beautiful.

Old motel. Noisy heater. Very basic but not much for choice if you need to stay in the Castor area. Nearby restaurant was very good though.

I reserved a room for a business trip. I had an assistant traveling with me and I required two beds. I specified two double beds when I made my reservation. When I arrived at the location, I was informed that two double beds were not available. I will repeat that I reserved two double beds. But they were not available. Why do I make a reservation if I don’t get when I needed? Very dissatisfied! This affected our whole stay. Our rooms were not equipped with full sized bath towels. We had to request them which meant another trip to the front desk. The room pictured on your site did not match the appearance of the room we stayed in. It was not a good experience. Will not stay there again.

This is a very old building with lots of history. We were warm and dry, and after a long day,

Older motel but clean. Pleasant owner, breakfast okay. It's what you would expect from the exterior.

No running hot water in the morning. Stains on carpets. Tv is 24”.

If you are thinking of staying here please read this!!! I stayed here for some time because our company was doing some work in the area. I was first staying in 124, the room was straight out of the 60's but that didn't bother me because all I need is a warm place with a bed. Unfortunately not much later after I checked in I found mice droppings in my belongs including my jacket pockets! I was ready to move out then and there but the old lady taking care of the place told me she will give me another room in a totally separate building which I took. I was then moved to room 115 and it turned to be an even bigger mistake! The room was a bit more modern than the previous room but it still had the same mice problem. I bought it to the attention of the lady taking care of the place and she installed some mice traps behind the TV and called a pest control company because other people were having the same problem. I did not want to jeopardize my health and decided to check out immediately. If you are in the area there are plenty of other places you can stay at (I ended up going to New Frontier and did not regret one bit). The lady seems like she does not care anymore.

Good location; the rooms need to have lightbulbs and functioning outlets. The towel rack broke in our room and the tv was not functioning (or maybe we didn't know how to access - a written set of instructions could have helped. The interac was down and had to rush out to bank within a half hour of closing to pay in cash; total payment was incorrect and had to provide proof with the written account I had on hand. No functioning wifi for hotel guests
