A good hotel, beautifully designed with an impressive farm, excellent breakfast, excellent service and kind hosts

A gem of a find which was recommended to us. The 1* rating is undeserved. Comfortable large room, good breakfast. Staff cannot do enough for you. A tip would be to ask for a room at the back as there is some traffic noise. A very pleasant two night experience, would not hesitate to recommend and return.

We spent three nights here. Today we arrived safely. The Merymen Hotel is a family run business. Out of Girne about 12 kms.. Plenty of parking and nice gardens and some goats and chickens at the back. Plus a nice swimming pool.. Credit to the following team members. Skakuri. Zahid. Romanick and Ruth. First impressions of the hotel were great. The Chris**as decor made it look fabulous. Staff were very friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, including entertaining my little boy. We were extremely pleased to be staying there. Unfortunately, our stay was tainted by two late night parties (one was on New Year’s Eve so was expected to be on late but not going past 1am as we were told this wouldn’t be the case). It seemed there wasn’t any consideration for the guests staying in the hotel as loud music was playing until past midnight. It seemed that the family who run the business were treating it as if it was their house and not a hotel with paying guests in it. It was a shame these incidents had to overshadow our otherwise great stay there.

We had a lovely one night stay in this very grand hotel, the room was lovely with beautiful mountain and pool view, the staff were excellent and attentive and the breakfast was brilliant with great service, it was lovely to relax by the beautiful pool, we will be back soon

We've just had another great 2 night stay at Meryem's Hotel. There was some building work in progress, more rooms being built, but the noise wasn't intrusive and didn't spoil our stay. The staff, service and food was as excellent as ever. Looking forward to going back in the Spring.
