ベイモント バイ ウィンダム ケーブ シティ(Baymont by Wyndham Cave City)

Third Wyndham hotel we have stayed and this one was as good as the second and way better than the first. Clean and nice. Pool was warm. Lady at the front desk was amazing. Even got to check in half an hour early. The other guests though could use a lesson in common courtesy. But if you’re a heavy sleeper and not woken up by car beeps, kids running by and yelling while the parent screams from ten feet behind, then this is the place for you. If you’re a light sleeper like me you will slightly suffer. But a good clean decent hotel to lay your head down if needed.

The room was comfortable but it was noisy. Trains went by, other travelers were not considerate. I asked for a receipt and the clerk wasn’t able to give me one. I have yet to receive the emailed receipt that was offered. The bathroom needed updating as some of the fixtures were not in good condition.

My only issue was I didn’t realize no elevator available with the room I got. I have knee pain so that was hard with the steps. Outside entrance. Good pricing, modern and very clean!

Away from other motels. Very lit up with lots of light at night. Hear the birds chirping this morning. Pretty quiet. Beds are very comfortable.

Made the reservation on *******, then when I arrived to check in I was told that I couldn’t have the room because I lived within a 50 mile radius and they weren’t allowed to rent a room to locals. I didn’t know that you weren’t allowed to stay in a room wherever you chose regardless of where you lived. Craziness!!

Stayed here for a couple days and the first night we had a room that connected to another one. There were 2 fellows staying in the other room, and while they were not especially noisy, the connecting doorway had absolutely no insulation and we could fully hear their entire conversations at 5am. We asked to be moved to another room that either didn't have a connecting doorway, or didn't have anyone in the next room. We were moved down the hall to a new room and had no other issues with noise. The rooms themselves were older, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre. They did have eggs, biscuits and sausages, but even though they were in a warmer, they weren't even slightly warm. There was also cereal, juice and some wrapped doughnuts and pastries. The only other thing that I had an issue with was the last morning. We were working on packing up and moving out and I noticed a hotel worker just prowling up and down the hallways. He kept going back and forth like he was just waiting for people to check out, but as he passed by each time, he would look into the room. It was still quite early (about 8:30a - checkout was 10 or 11a) and it just felt creepy.

Not the worst place I have stayed…staff was welcoming and pleasant but conditions were not good. We found a small water leak at the base of the toilet during the night and there was mold on the bathroom walls. The sheet and towels were very clean though. Overall the physicality itself needs some major improvements and updating.

Our room appeared nice & clean. The breakfast was great & it was nice to have warm food options. Even though the property was full it was still really quiet. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

The location was good, pretty close to the attractions. However, the building was being renovated and the workers staying there ate up all the breakfast. We watched a worker grab 4 apples, all the honeybuns and several packages of donuts. It was loud before 8 am. Then the housekeeping crew just opened our door while we were still in bed. It was infuriating and disturbing. Was not happy with the stay.
