Memories Paraíso Azul Beach Resort

The resort was great I had the diamond club package and was not disappointed! Room was always clean and tidy. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. This is my second time at this resort and I would definitely be back for a third time! The beach at this resort is amazing!

The best ressort ever. I want to thank the community manager of the hotel for being so caring and attentive. The service was perfect too. I love the Michael Jackson' show are the theater. I had the best time in the Sunwing coctel. Thanks a lot Memories!

It was a great time, the one we had in Grand. Grand is like second home. Where you can find nice coffee in the morning lobby. Nice beach, gorgeous one to rest in and appreciate the most beautiful sunsets. Love the snack in Grand pool.. I want to thank every member of the staff.. Great and charming people, so friendly. Specially to thank Ana CM, very nice girl. Want to come back as soon as possible. Love you Memories

We spent a week there and we really enjoyed it. The staff was amazing! The room was big, we had some issues with the bed, but they fixed it. The beach is a paradise, the swimming pool was fun and our little one really enjoyed it. Having pizza and sandwiches in the beach & pool area was great to add some variety. The buffet had grills, the lines were sometimes long, but it was not so bad for the amount of guests. Just slow on the service of the restaurants. We went for our 8th wedding anniversary and we had a special dinner in the restaurant. They truly made it special for us, they decorated the table, have champagne ready for us, the service was fast and even had an amazing dessert.

Apart from some inconveniences that lasted a day (no water in sink or shower, toilet not flushing), the resort was a very pleasant stay. Highlights were the beach, friendly staff and the Michael Jackson dance show- does the dance troupe have a name/website or any social media I can follow? Would stay again if I was on a budget.

This was the best hotel staff ever! the music at the pool was also so amazing! Shout out to Juan Carlos, kesky, Jeffery at the reception, delvis at the beach bar, front desk ladies were all great, met a manager called Yamina at the restaurant who was also wonderful, so many other people to mention.. thank you everyone for the great experience, would love to go back, definitely the best beaches in the world! 🥰

It was my second time in Memories and I always want to come back again. Even when it is big hotel it is wo quiet and charming. I love coffee tome in the terrace and piña colada at the beach bar. Even when there wasn't many food options it was well elaborated. I always love go there because of the beach and the staff. Very nice and friendly people im Cuba. Specially Ana CM at the resort. I'll come back for next vacations

Overall great experience. Ulises served us with great entertainment. He took care of us with the local culture. Food was amazing. Well prepared. Beach was extravagant with exceptional views of long sandy beaches and blue water. Ulises was the the staple in making this experience one of a kind

I recently went to this hotel with my family for a celebration, and while I am not usually picky about hotels especially not on vacation this hotel however especially disappointed me. To start off I do give credit to the beautiful seaside views, however from my experience if you are wishing to purchase a sea view room then you will be moved to another hotel by the name of Grand Memories, this hotel is really consists of 3 hotels, one old that is being renovated, one that is quite old that is the only one with sea view and the middle one that is decent. Now the part that really turned me sour on this hotel were the amenities and especially the lack of them, for example the rooms are very old and feel antique, in our case only 3 out of 10+ outlets actually worked and the wifi didn't reach our room at all. The room itself feels old and uncomfortable with the hotel smelling unpleasantly and the toilet being very loud when flushing, the beds are also pretty old and one of our extra beds (smaller than twin sized) was broken, having the mattress sides to one of the edges of the bed. Now to talk about the actual experience at the hotel, the images of food are misleading and the food itself is very limited often having 5 choices of main foods in the buffet with fruits a bread section and one or two people cooking food like pork or pasta, so if you have a heartfelt desire to eat a lot of delicious food in vacation then I recommend another hotel. Another point that really made me lower the overall score were the people working in the hotel and how they act. Most people that you meet here will be kind and really nice and greet you, however I personally felt some micro aggressions that really added up into the direction of my family and a few others, like the waiters just ignoring us when we attempted to ask them for water and barmen that are very unresponsive in some areas of the hotel. Overall I believe that the hotel experience could be improved, however my family is quite upset about these mishaps and especially the misleading hotel advertisements, but in the end of the day it's always your choice to make or break your vacation experience.
