What a treasured trip to Okoboji we had especially our stay here! Seen Mama Doe & twins first evening right out our slider! The family area was stocked with tons of goodies & we had a great pool matchup. So fun!! Breakfast delivered to our room was 1st class…quiche, fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee & fresh cream even! Beds comfy & showers stocked with Aveda everything! Nice touches all around this gorgeous property! Thanks so very much! We’ll be back for sure!!

Inn accommodations are spacious and inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The dining room was a special space to enjoy the furnishings and a wonderful breakfast. Verandas offered a relaxing place to sit outdoors to enjoy the near and distant landscape views.

Upon arrival at the Oakwood Inn, Bridget asked me, "What brings you to Okoboji?" I replied, "You did." Weeks before, an article about this B&B popped up on the internet. After reading it and viewing the photos, I had two immediate thoughts. First: What a classy and comfortable Inn that was enhanched further by an exquisite natural setting. Secondly; There's no way this place allows pets. But after checking out their website and seeing the words, "Pet friendly," I couldn't book a reservation fast enough. Bridget and Bill do snd have done everything possible to make one's stay a truly memorable one. From the delightful gourmet breakfast to the dreamlike bed along with a litany of complimentary perks available in the den's kitchen, our visit exceded our high expectations. I was so impressed by the pleasantness off our hosts and the peaceful vibe of this luxury B&B, that I texted my son and told him if there is a special ocassion that he would like to escape with his wife to a very romantic retreat, I found a "Peace" of paradise at the Oakwood Inn.

Wonderful place with attention to detail and many little extras. Clean, comfortable, quality linens and towels, aveda bath products and even a shower steamer! The grounds are lovely and offer many different sitting areas. Great breakfast too! You can dine with others, dine in room or get it to go. The owners are attentive but not intrusive. Would love to return! Also, it’s right on the bike trail!

The Oakwood Inn is our destination for relaxation. The breakfasts are wonderful and the people are as well. We stayed 3 nights and met so many friendly people. Arnolds Park was well kept and clean. The walking opportunities were great. Doug and Margi (guest innkeepers) were fantastic and made tasty smores by the outdoor fireplace. The Oakwood Inn is a "must" visit. Thanks for the hospitality.

This Inn is absolutely beautiful. The innkeepers were friendly and communicated will from the day we make our reservation. It was so clean and well appointed -- I would rate this property 20 out of 10 stars! Spacious and beautiful flowers, oak trees, ponds, outdoor sitting areas. The area is quiet and perfect for our reunion of 14 family members. The food was delicious and service excellent.
