ヴィラ ペトリオロ(Villa Petriolo)

This Tuscan villa is perfect for a short stay and very suitable for families with young children. Amazing property in the midst of farms and vineyards. Beautiful sunset and sunrise views. If you are seeking a Tuscan villa experience and are not budget conscious, highly recommend Villa Petriolo. Italian cooking classes, yoga, cycling etc. are offered. Great stay for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy Tuscany's beauty and charm.

We just spent almost three weeks in Italy. Villa Petriolo was hands down our favorite location. The staff was truly amazing. The facility is elegant. The food and wine are the very best of Tuscany. The surrounding grounds take you back to a calmer and better time without crowds or chaos. I would stay at Villa Petriolo again without question. Our five days there were without a doubt my favorite in all of Italy.

Can’t recommend Villa Petriolo enough!! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are stunning. The staff is very kind, and they offer various experiences on the property. The breakfast is also wonderful, and all food comes directly from their property.

Villa petriolo and the staff there are AMAZING. We looked forward to seeing Niccolo, the bartender everyday at the pool. Marco was a wonderful instructor for our pizza and pasta making class. Francesca was a wonderful guide on our tour. The views, the food, the drinks, everything is incredible. My biggest compliment would be regarding the food. I have celiac disease, and finding gluten free options can sometimes be tricky. There was a gluten free option for EVERYTHING here, and it was all delicious. I’m still dreaming of the gluten free croissants and focaccia. I cannot wait to go back!

Felt like too many restrictions. No one wants to help you with the luggage (just get the car closer)

We had a long busy trip planned across Italy and this place was the most perfect relaxing few days we had. The property is stunning and the food is delicious. We loved our stay and were sad to leave!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Villa Petriolo during our 25th anniversary trip.As you approach the property, you start to appreciate where you are staying. We were greeted from the desk staff and needed to wait for our room to be ready. It allowed us some time to enjoy the property grounds and pool area. You feel the peacefulness of the whole property immediately. While relaxing the general manager Daniele greeted us and spoke to us about the property. Their current offerings and their vision. They have wonderful plans to improve on perfection. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean. We could open the doors and see the goats grazing below and the vineyard in the distance. We also did two different activities while there. We did an estate tour and wine tasting. Francesca was a lovely guide that explained the history of the property and their high honors for their green initiatives. She then took us the restaurant and tasted their lovely wines and had a beautiful dinner. It is lively and vibrant at night with a wonderful atmosphere. We also did a cooking class with Marco. One of my highlights of the trip. Marco was kind and happy to answer all of my questions. He is the sous chef for their gourmet restaurant. We went through full meal preparation and he shared tips for all he did. He is a delightful man and skilled chef. We relaxed for a bit and then had the food brought to us to enjoy. My favorite meal experience of our entire trip to Italy. It as delicious!! Daniele and his entire staff make you feel very relaxed while there. It is a special place. We will recommend to family and friends and I recommend it to you!!

This was a wow experience for our family. Gorgeous surroundings and view, luxuriously spacious rooms, excellent service, delicious restaurants, all while being fully sustainable. We spent 3 nights here during our 13-day tour of Italy. We dedicated one full day to relaxing and enjoying the Villa amenities. I can highly recommend to stay here if you have the opportunity.

The villa is new, secluded, romantic, and has very warm and welcoming employees. The experiences they offer, however, were overpriced. We took the Medici Cooking Class, and while we liked the chef who was very nice and informative, we barely got to actually cook anything (only helped make the pasta dough). We also booked the horse riding experience which happens off the property and goes around a simple field on what is a dirt road, and we had expected to learn at least a little about the property and vineyards but there were no explanations given; however the horseback riding itself was fun and the people were nice and offered us a drink after with them. PS encompasses the ideology of sustainability and the chef takes on the challenge of working only with seasonal and local ingredients masterfully - it was quite an experience but would warn those with more particular / selective palates to review the menu as the flavors are not necessarily for the masses. Overall, Villa Petriolo was beautiful and very romantic and quiet, but like mentioned, the experiences seemed a bit overpriced.
