We stayed at Hotel Budweis for one night recently when we were passing through Ceske Budejovice. I'm so glad we did! It was a great experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, and also modern, with enough storage and seating. Breakfast had lots of options, and it was tasty. The staff were so friendly and welcoming — always smiling and helpful with any requirements like recommendations or directions. The hotel’s location was great for exploring the city, and we always felt safe walking around. Would definitely come back and recommend it to other families!

he hotel is right on the edge of the old town, very accessible to the old town, but not to much else. It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, which was a bit much with suitcases over cobbled streets. I had a corner room on the thrid floor, very spacious, with closets, safe, kettle, desk and so on. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. The bathroom is nice and large, but the shower is in a very high bathtub which is actually not easy to get into, and I'm not a short person. The shower itself is hand-held, meaning that i had to hold it in my hand while showering, and while there was plenty of hot water, I could never get the temperature right. Also, I was there in the winter. The temperature in the room was just a bit on the cool side, and the thermostat seems to be pre-set. Not cold enough that I complained about it.

top location, a couple of minutes' walk to main square, parking at site, outside, a couple of parking lots, or else in garage, welcome upon check-in very friendly, room spacious, quiet, clean with view at city. breakfast with variety of food, basically european breakfast, we had lunch and dinner in the hotel's restaurant - top recommendation, delicious food, friendly service. negative argument: yes, we couldn't stay longer, moved on to c.krumlov ;-) PS: they let us park our car on premises on day of departure till 4pm, check-out was at 11am, for free, of course.

This is the second time I stayed here. The first time was great, this was not a stay that mirrored the first. The room was not that clean, I could see dust on the curtains. The maid staff left cleaning products in my room and the vacuum cleaner was in the hall for 2 days. The breakfast service is just okay and I did not find staff friendly, but this might be due to a language barrier as I am English speaking. The most disappointing occurrence was theft of a cashmere sweater. It was in my room waiting to be packed , when I left for dinner. When I was gathering my things the next morning I realized it was missing. This was relayed to the front desk and I have heard nothing since. I was unable to connect to the WiFi in my room for the entire stay, the signal was too weak. My daughter lives in Ceske Budejovice , and it is a lovely town. I felt that the hotel might be struggling based on what I saw and that an item was stolen with no apologies from management.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und auf deutsch. Unser Zimmer in der 3. Etage war ausreichend groß, mit riesigen Betten. Es war alles sehr sauber. Das Hotel hat eine Tiefgarage und einen Parkplatz, den wir aber bei der Anreise nicht bemerkt haben. Die Tiefgarage kostete ca. 8 Euro. Der Marktplatz ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Hotel hat auch ein Restaurant, aber die Außenplätze waren belegt. Wir haben im Restaurant der Brauerei Solnice, wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt, gegessen. Frühstück gibt es bis 10:00 Uhr. Wir waren 9:30 Uhr da, da wir den Reisenden aus den zwei Bussen ausweichen wollten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend, der Koch reinigte ausgiebig seinen Herd, so dass wir nicht mehr nach einer Eierspeise gefragt haben, sondern die fertigen Spiegeleier genommen haben. Kaum Wurst. Aufgrund der Lage würden wir es wieder buchen.

Hotel di qualità molto buona. Stanze ampie, fresche, ben arredate. Colazione abbondante ma forse un po' sotto le aspettative. Non c'è molto spazio per il parcheggio, ma lo staff è di aiuto per risolvere questo problema. Architettura esterna ed interna davvero molto bella.
