Gorgeous setting. Hotel interior is tastefully furnished. Staff is uniformly cordial and welcoming. But… Rooms inadequately furnished, as in no dressers and scant shelf space. Only six hangers provided for two people. The hot food in the buffet restaurant is perfectly horrid — flavourless, either mushy or overcooked, and inadequately labelled. (It isn’t enough to specify a dish’s Greek name without specifying its contents, I, for one, want to know if something contains meat.) We alerted reception to this oversight, to no avail. We’ve been enjoying all-inclusive holidays for 20 years, and only one place has had worse food. In fairness, the col salads and desserts are often delicious, but we were dismayed by the absence of cough guards above the food, and by the desserts being arrayed low enough to allow unsupervised kiddies to handle them. (We pointed this to out to management, which didn’t act on our complaint,) The a la carte restaurant down by the beach, I will no neglect to mention, is marvellous,
