ノースゲート イン モーテル(Northgate Inn Motel)

This place is like indoor camping. Yeah....there was a bed and a bathroom, but it's all very rustic. It's a good thing the ONLY lamp has a 25-watt lightbulb---all the better to obscure what you've gotten yourself into. The HVAC is impossibly finicky. All the interior appoin**ents are worn out. This place is straight out of 1980 and hasn't seen a dime of renovation since it was originally constructed.

Bathroom was not clean. Furniture and carpeting were stained.

This is an older motel with poorly kept property. The rooms were musty and could not open the windows. The “guest room” was strangely laid out and no services available.

Stayed here before was ok. This trip: fridge dirty, esp in tray tracks, unable to adjust fridge temp so our stuff was all frozen, filthy windows, no screen, curtains looked as if a cat attacked them, sheets had splotches of hopefully, paint on them but they had been washed in bleach, bathtub with alot of finish gone, door with, "lock" flimsy, I suppose someone tried to fix it, veeery flat, oooold pillows, very noisy airconditioner, towel rack bent badly and shelf on wall very wigly. Maybe worth half what we paid at best. Did not talk with staff as told they were full and could'nt even get pop mchine filled.

No covers on drains with visible hair left in them, broken window, door was painted so it stuck and you had to jam your shoulder into it to get it to open. You also had to slam it to get it closed.

Had problems with room service cleaning room. Management refunded our money and apologized for the service

Room booked through ********** was poor quality. After asking to cancel, the staff moved us to an updated room at no charge. That room was OK. The AC worked, and included updated mattress, TV, and a fridge. It was also on a lower floor. Rooms do not include a coffee maker, but coffee is available on the first floor in the morning. The woman working the desk was very nice, but she indicated that management directs her to assign discounted ********** rooms to the third floor.

Great spot! Clean, comfortable room and bed. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Such a good place! I appreciate the 'old -school' vibe. It felt very friendly and familiar. And the rooms are very clean and up to date. A perfect blend of the old road-trip memories and modern convenience!
