A real gem in the old town of Chambery and one of the most special places that we have stayed at! Modern and unique rooms designed with great taste and attention to detail. The owners were extremely attentive and helped us with every aspect of our stay including guidance to the local dining and activities. The hotel has a small fine dining restaurant where we had a great dinner one evening. There is also a bar with nice selection of wine and spirits and some snacks which is open until midnight. Pretty much everything of interest in Chambery is withinin 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Plenty of small boutiques, bars and restaurants.There are also a few small museums that are worth exploring. Also on Saturdays one can visit the huge farmer's market. One note - call or email the hotel for detailed directions once you are in town. It is a bit complicated if you are arriving by car and Google maps won't take you to the right spot. Overall we can't recommend this unique small hotel highly enough, we had an exceptional stay!

I am travelling with my 11 year old daughter and we were looking for a relaxing night somewhere in the countryside/alps region following seeing Taylor Swift in Lyon. We chose Chambery specifically after learning about this hotel. I will preface this by saying, this is not really a kids hotel. This is somewhere I would recommend for romantic few days. The hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in a side street, every inch is well thought out, beautiful and private. The restaurants are gorgeous and the breakfast included with our room was extensive.. charcuterie and cheese, French pastries, boiled eggs, oat lattes, fresh juices. I’ll include a photo. Our room was lovely.. a double rain shower with stone floor, a privacy wall made of tree branches. I saw another room while it was being cleaned which was all black.. so so romantic. There is a private stone room, with low lighting and a pool and eucalyptus steam room that each guest is able to use privately for 50 minutes - so relaxing and special. I had booked us tandem massages and can not express how beautiful the experience was. Truly relaxing, quiet, and the only way I can describe it was that it felt like being massaged by someone who genuinely loves you. Absolutely beautiful experience. The owners are also readily available and so helpful. The only thing I would be cautious about - we are on a ten day trip and wanted to have laundry done (washer and dryer, simple things), and I sent it down without looking at the price list. This is absolutely my fault but 200 euros for an unpressed load (child and adult mix) that I would have tossed into the washer and dryer in one load at home is a lotttt. Again though, this is my fault. They are busy and I’m sure doing guest laundry is not convenient. I would 100% return to this hotel with my husband. Do not hesitate to book this. Lovely hotel, lovely town, lovely people.

Wandering the narrow streets or relaxing with a book offers a serene escape from the daily hustle and bustle. The service at the hotel is nothing short of exceptional, with a staff that goes above and beyond to cater to your every need. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalized attention throughout our stay, the hospitality was top-notch. The on-site restaurant is unique and delicious. Dining here is an experience in itself, making the small hotel a must-visit destination for food and wine enthusiasts.

Stayed at PHC en route to the alps for spring skiing. Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff and service were impeccable. Only reason for a lost star was rather disappointing tasting menu. Would recommend a la carte over it. Will stay at PHC again very happily.

We stayed here as a family over my birthday and we were treated so well by the lovely hotel staff. The rooms were beautiful and unique, the location is in the heart of the old town, the cocktails were fabulous and we all loved our stay - sadly we were only there for one night but we wish it had been more. Each room is individual and the building itself is really special and stylishly decorated. A hidden gem!

What a fantastic hotel , beautifully restored rooms , great service and food all in the center of Chambery , the Cafe attached to hotel is a buzzy little place for an evening drink as well Tip; Park in Q park in the Castle and come out lower door and hotel is right there

Absolutely fantastic….from the minute you arrive you are treated to complete perfect service and the hotel is beautiful in every aspect….designed to such a high standard ultra stylish at the same time retaining this historical feel….the food service is one of the highest we experienced in France and the young assistant manger couldn’t be more helpful…efficient and strong….he was perfect in moving heavy cases with ease. Breakfast was 5 star…..Dinner 6 star…bar…6 star…. Courtesy 6 star.

This hotel is a gem in Chambery. An amazing hotel on a perfect location, excellent breakfast. High standard accommodation with all the goodies. Close to perfection and a very nice staff. Thanks a lot Charlotte and Jerome.

We really struggled to control the heating in our rooms and ended up opening up the windows during the night and then having to get up to close the windows when traffic started moving in the morning. Otherwise, the rooms were v nice.
