The hotel was ok The staff, manager, and rep were all very friendly and helpful, no complaints at all, excellent in fact. The breakfast was very good, and the DIY packed lunch an excellent idea. The room, room 8. please see images. The level of decoration was absolutely appalling. One filthy, stinking, stained upright chair. Five window panes broken. Bare wires sticking out of the wall where a wall light had been. More bare wires in the cupboard. window sill height, knee height, approximately 21 inches with no safety bar. fourth floor. Toilet seat louse No ventilation at all in the bathroom. lights too dim. laminate floor worn through no latches on the cupboard doors, which kept swinging open. This was my first experience with Inghams, and I am very disappointed.

Rooms overlook Mont Blanc. Basic facilities more than made up for by friendly staff. Excellent meals - ambitious chef!

We got a last minute deal - £399 per person - 2 days before departure through Igluski for this Inghams holiday. 7 days half board flying from Birmingham Flights with jet2 disappointing. They told me because my son was autistic he could not sit in an extra leg room seat! Transfers okay. Hotel old shabby and in need of renovation. Our triple room had mould on the walls and was not very clean. Meals - wine was supposed to be unlimited with the meal but certain staff just did not bring any wine. Food basic but good however it went very quickly and was not replaced. If you asked they just left you waiting. One morning there was no butter. On three mornings no porridge. Ski locker room very unsafe. Door left open and lock broken Staff young but friendly and helpful especially josh. Buses to ski lifts were 30 - 40 minutes wait not 10 minutes as stated. Very crowded and a good 40 minute ride to some areas. Skiing good. food and drink on slopes pricey. If I had paid the full price would have been very upset, for the price we paid acceptable - we went to ski - but not to the standard you should get. Lift passes precooked were a rip off. Paid 230 for a 6 day. On the coach the inghams rep was selling two 3 day passes for a total of 170. The free spa day was nice but a bit crowded. MOST IMPORTANT- Jet 2 customer service appalling. Disgraceful. Igluski the same appalling. No response even now. INGHAMS however responded, apologised and were very good at resolving the issues and offered true customer service. Would certainly book with them again. IGLUSKI just want your money AVOID.

I stayed for four nights in early July 2024 for a conference in Chamonix. Although not necessarily centrally located, it was a 10-15 minute walk to everywhere. The best part was that all rooms have a balcony facing the mountains, providing a stunning view of the French Alps and Mont Blanc. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I met the owner (who is married to an American) and he gave me a complimentary beer since I checked in on July 4 (very kind of him!). I originally was staying three nights, but added on a fourth. They were happy to accommodate me with a last minute's notice. Parking was available for free and easy. There was beer on tap in the bar area with a wonderful outdoor patio to enjoy the view. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again in the future!

Perfect quiet location with only a short walk beside the river to the town centre. A wonderful view from our room, great staff, easy parking, good breakfast…….! Yes, the hotel is a little dated, the bedroom was a little small and there is no air conditioning but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and La Sapiniere will be our first choice when we next visit Chamonix!

What a FANTASTIC experience!! Chalet la Sapiniere was a brilliant find -- located right in Chamonix and close to all the shops and restaurants, right across from the landing field for the parasailers, with a huge view of Mt. Blanc and all the mountains. Wonderful staff that was helpful, welcoming and kind ... and our room had a huge private balcony so we could sit outside and admire the view all day long. Just a perfect find... for a very affordable price. SO so delightful!!!

Such a lovely hotel with a perfect view of the French Alps. Their terrace bar is a great place to enjoy a drink in a peaceful setting. You can even watch the paragliders land in the field nearby. Our favorite part was our interactions with a staff member from Colombia who was extremely kind and helpful. He was one of our favorite people we met in France!

The place is all around absolutely fantastic if I must say. I was blown away by the service of the staff - absolutely the most friendly hotel staff I have ever experienced. This in conjunction with the amenities made we feel as if I had to write a review for this incredible stay.
