ウォーターミードハウス(Watermead House)

Jamie and Gary took over an already excellent guest house, and have made it even better. Tastefully decorated, modern but still in country house style. Coming from Denmark, cleanliness is paramount and here they qualify for six stars. Their breakfast is legendary. Great people who seem engaged and happy for the business

We stayed at Watermead House for 2 nights. The host Gary was very welcoming, and was attentive to our needs. Car parking on-site is very convenient. The bed was comfortable and we had fabulous breakfasts! The room was clean with a lovely shower. There is a very nice lounge at Watermead where you can spend time. We didn't use the garden, it being February. We will visit again!

Great place to stay, comfy and very clean, free parking, plenty of choices for breakfast and very well cooked, a lot of choices around in walking distance. I always choose to stay here when I am in the area.

Fabulous breakfast and lovely owners who were so helpful with us . Great rooms and very central to everything near chard . I would highly recommend . Plenty of parking in hotel grounds . Just off the high street and very good value for money . Easy to book and I am sure I will return .

This was a great overnight stay with daughter and grandson. Trudie and Dave were fabulous hosts. Not forgetting their wonderful golden retriever. The rooms were immaculate and warm. Breakfast was absolutely ace, top notch. Lovely ingredients. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back. All the best. Christine

Trudy and David made me feel very welcome; my room was upgraded at no extra cost and i had my suitcase carried up to my room. Every was in the room that I needed! The breakfast was also very nice- all local produce used. I shall certainly stay at Watermead again if i am in the area!

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The hosts/owners are a delightful couple, very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Plenty if parking space The room was nice, and the bathroom spacious and looked freshly decorated. Anything we needed was included - TV/ Wi-Fi, coffee. Great breakfast, freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again when in the area.

Cannot recommende Watermead Guest House enough. Free car park,very quite we slept like logs. We only stayed for one night but want to return.Everything in our room was spotless and immaculate. Breakfast was freshly cooked with local ingredients. Owners were welcoming and helpful. Reasonably priced what more could anyone want.
