Trendy hotel, clean rooms! Great size TV and en-suite.
No storage or fridge/safe/microwave/coffee in room.
Reception on upper floor with bar (complimentary drink) and lounge with fab rooftop!
Food served after 3pm was limited but tasty.
Starbucks on ground floor.

Love this hotel, it was very hip and edgy. The location is a little bit outside of central downtown and the surroundings are a bit run down but I think they are working on it. I love the aesthetics of the hotel!

Very basic, was expecting better. Service was indifferent, the staff was monotoned and not customer oriented. Location was BAD! In a bad neighborhood of Charleston. I was not impressed.

Hotel is different, expensive, room was VERY small, no chair to sit on always had to sit on bed. No restaurant just some bar food in the bar. Nice atmosphere in the 6 floor bar. Would I book again, maybe only due to location to family.

Location walking distance to King St and all the shopping and restaurants. Easy check-in
Great roof-top area inside/ outside with bar.
Room are VERY small but have everything you need for a quick stop in Charleston. Fun Vibe.

Parking options not great unless you valet which is okay for a night or two but it can add up. If you use your free drink coupons it pretty much evens it out. The location is decent but not super walkable. Looking forward to staying at another Moxy location soon!

Overall for the price value it was a good stay. Comfortable bed, blackout shades, a really nice business center and fitness center. Everything is pretty brand new, and cleanliness was top notch. The staff were hospitable and friendly.
The only notable, negative things were
1. the room (single) had no chair but did have a desk which doesn't make much sense.
2. the room had no hand soap. When asked the front desk they could not procure any from multiple floors.
3. Walls are thin. Can hear every door open/close in the hall and the end of hall lockers are noisy when the door opens.
4. Music in the business center during the day was too loud for people working/having meetings.
5. There was no server at the bar during the weekday for food.

Loved everything!! Very nice place the view in the balcony was AMAZING!!! We checked in at 3 a.m and the receptionist was nice welcoming and had a wonderful attitude!!

The trendy hotel has poor build quality. The walls are paper thin, the heat/ac has a flapper vent that will shift throughout the night. You may not sleep well. Worst of all is the valet parking which does not park your vehicle in their garage. They will take your $35 a night and park your vehicle out on the street/alley behind the hotel in a very questionable neighborhood.
