A lovely hotel in Cognac. Wonderful views from terrace over surrounding countryside. Great breakfast and first class customer service. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recommend this venue for quality time with friends or family with bio, delicious food and well being area to go. Also wild garden around hotel is worth to visit. Everything clean, staff helpful and knowledgeable.

View is nice, bed is comfortable, although there were bugs season according to the manager, lots of bugs tried to get inside , but the room is very clean, the lady hotel manager was very friendly and politely welcome us every time we backed to the hotel ,neighborhood is so quiet and can do running/walking along a river. Enjoyed.

A very welcoming hotel with eye catching art work .The pool and the gardens were lovely and the breakfast choice amazing .Very convenient situation for Cognac and surrounds .

Enchanting layout: a castle just outside Cognac. Swimming-pool, nice external area where you can have your cup of champagne and have your meal at their restaurant (we had both). Excellent spa services are present. The lady at the desk was very friendly and efficient. Each room is unique in terms of design and colours. My room was extremely clean. A wonderful experience (even though I was on a business trip).

Good location for visiting Cognac, Angoulême and environs. The hotel has views to the Charente river and beyond. You can visit the wild "jardin respectueux" in front and reach the river on foot for pleasant promenades. The outdoor pool isn't heated, which would make it pleasant in the hotter months. In the price of the room, we were able to reserve an hour-long slot per day for the little spa with its hammam, sauna and jacuzzi. It could do with a revamp, as could the rooms, but the communal areas seem to have been renovated more recently. The set dinner menu at 33€ was excellent and the service from Thomas and his team was very good. The buffet breakfast was copious and was made up of a great deal of local, organic produce. High five for the scrambled eggs, which must have been made the traditional way over a bain-marie.

Wonderful hotel, the staff make feel very special. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet, love the fact that they are all decorated differently. Can’t hear any other guests or any other noises ie.plumbing etc. The food in the restaurant is exceptional with local produce and their own grown vegetables. The chef is very inventive. Just a lovely place to be.

A delicious meal. Everything from the amuse bouche, starter, fish course, meat, cheese & dessert cooked to perfection with perfect balance of textures & flavours. Fabulous wines served by knowledgeable sommelier. Honoured to meet chef.
