Hotel Lincoln

Old old charm. If you are looking for modern amenities this quaint hotel isn't for you. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Staff is amazing. The rooftop bar is great. The coffee shop on the ground floor is equally as good. Both of these spots attract people who live in the area. As long as our daughter lives in this area, we will be staying at Hotel Lincoln.

Great location for Second City. Really nice hotel with up to date, clean rooms. Lots of great restaurants in the area, plenty of bars. The rooftop bar in the hotel has a lovely brunch on the weekend with a great view. Coffee is great in Elaine’s. Staff is especially friendly. We will definitely be back here again for a new Holiday family tradition.

Water pressure was so low & temperature fluctuated so badly that it took an hour for me to rinse out my hair. I reported it to the front desk & they reacted with a crazed "oh no... are you going to yell at me face". I felt bad for them and could only assume that this is a known issue. Its a shame because i thought i found my perfect place for when im in town. I dont have an extra hour in the am when im working. Sorry Hotel Lincoln, i wanted to love you.

The mattress was like a slab of cement. The carpet was old, and the furniture tired. Water spots on the bathroom ceiling and peeling wall paper. Good location and nice rooftop bar.

It is a century old, historic building, so you need to factor that into your expectations. This means smaller rooms, and an elevator that may make some guests a little nervous. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar, and that staff was very friendly. Service was great. If you drive there, elect to use their valet service. They do a great job. Select a park view and you will have an awesome look at of one of Chicago's largest green spaces.

Our room at Hotel Lincoln was convenient (near our son’s apartment) and across the street from the Lincoln Park Zoo. While an older building, our room was nice and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

My husband and I were staying for a 3 day weekend for his 40th Birthday. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. As far as the hotel room itself. The rooms are very small. There was no counter space or storage in the bathroom to keep your bathroom belongings in there. The bed was very firm and we left with backaches unfortunately. When we booked a large part of choosing this location was for the rooftop bar but the entire 3 nights we stayed there it was booked out for an event so we were unable to take advantage unless we went during lunch hours. Our plan was to get a few drinks prior to going out on the town in the evening. The hotel was going through renovations so the lobby was freezing due to the door being only plastic wrap and there were no fridges in the rooms. There was a nice pop up christmas bar in the coffee shop in the lobby. We were able to walk to some places we wanted to visit and it was only a quick uber away for the other places. So the location was perfect. We will probably choose another place to go when we visit again because most of the cons out-weighed the pros.

They said ******* over booked this hotel, so they moved me to their sister hotel. They then only put me down for one night instead of the 2 I had, plus didn't put me in a room with a king like my original reservation had. They said my fist night would be paid, for, but at check out I paid full price
