部屋はとてもきれいで、場所はバー、レストラン、川の散歩など、すべての場所にあります。また、ホテルのスタッフは驚異的でした。友人の助けが必要ですが、彼らは何の不満もなく私たちを助け、他に何か必要な場合は連絡するように言いました。

Great location and beautiful hotel. Upon arrival, we were given two vouchers to be used at the bar complimentary. However, while checking out, we were charged 17 dollars for this “resort fee”. Since we had not used the vouchers the amount was credited. A bit misleading to say something is complimentary yet are charged for it. Parking is 75 at the hotel but you can park overnight right across in Nordstrom’s parking garage for 37 dollars overnight.

Great boutique hotel! Service was friendly and helpful! Location is perfect, connected to the mall, right on Michigan Ave, 10 minute train to State street stores, 10 minute train ride to Rush and Oak store area!!!

Place is in a somewhat decent location. We picked The Gwen because we wanted to spend sometime shopping at Nordstrom and wanted to avoid walking in the cold. It started off right away with a terrible impression. We stay in hotels in Chicago 8-10 times per month and I don’t think I will stay here for the price, service and value we received. When we arrived the valet failed to acknowledge us. Finally after unpacking our belongings I stood in front of the valet stand and the valet continued to finish writing whatever he was writing for about a solid 30 seconds when I finally cleared my throat and we made eye contact. How can I help you sir? I’d like to valet my car. He took my name down on a piece of paper and then asked me to turn my car off. I told him that I should probably move my car out of the way because there’s cars waiting to go through. He replied and said it’s not my problem they can wait. As I started to walk away the cars behind me now started to honk and cause a scene and make me look like it’s my fault that the valet told me to leave my car there. I told him to please move the car. And I proceeded to walk into the first level to take the elevator. Waited 5 MIN. for elevator and I watched through the windows as the valet driver kept pushing my brake lights and not going anywhere. Long story short. valet driver didn’t know how to start my car and I had to send it to the dealer because he had caused it to go into limp. Car was in D and off

A group of friends and myself stayed for a night at The Gwen. We arrived early and fully anticipated having to wait for a room. However the person checking us in, Luigi, was amazing and found us a room that had just been cleaned. He was friendly, talkative and professional throughout the entire process and made checking in a breeze. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. We were a little nervous about being so close to the elevators, but it turned out to not be an issue. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The varying types of firmness in the pillows was also a very nice touch and made the bed even more comfortable. We grabbed cocktails at the bar downstairs and the great service continued there as well. Our server was prompt, friendly and even gave us some good pointers of where to go after dinner. In the morning we had brunch out on the terrace, which was heaven considering we visited in November. Again, our service was great and the food was excellent. It was the perfect send off to our night out. Overall, everyone agreed it was an amazing stay from beginning to end. We will definitely be back!

This hotel was perfect for anyone wanting to be right by Michigan Avenue shopping. The restaurant was wonderful and it was connected to a shopping center that has Nordstrom.. I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel was clean, quiet & perfect for a night away as a couple to to bring your family and shop.

Lovely hotel. The bed was comfortable. The service was lovely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

Comfortable and quiet - close to everything I wanted to do. Check in and checkout was great / LuiGi was awesome!
