Room good. Food very good. Staff very, very good. What a pleasant place to stay - and to think I'd have picked the Premier Inn if it hadn't been full! So refreshing to see a young team of staff who both enjoy and are good at their jobs. I will be a regular visit to Ormskirk over the next few months and I think I've found my home from home...

It’s a hidden gem. The restaurant was of Michelin star quality. The family were very impressed. We hope to be back. The staff were very professional and couldn’t do enough for the guests. The quality and variety of the food was awesome. We will be back.

We had a fantastic party for our mum at the Rufford Arms. The food was excellent we had a great choice to choose from. The staff were very responsive from the booking arrangements, the food quality and service. All of the staff on the night were very friendly and professional. Thank you all.

Went with friends for a birthday celebration meal , the food and service was excellent couldn’t fault it . A good variety to choose from on the menu, set in very nice decor having never been before l definitely will go again and recommend it to others .

Second stay here in the space of 10 days for business. Both stays were excellent, from check in to leaving, I have no criticisms that can be put down to the hotel or the staff. Yes, on last nights stay I had a family (I think) in the room above me who seemed to just be clomping around constantly until about 1030 pm - that’s not the fault of the hotel though, it’s down to consideration for others. Friendly staff (Sue is lovely), clean comfortable rooms and great food. I’ll definitely be back

Stayed here twice in the space of a week or so on business trips - really good. I love the fact that check in is from 2pm - none of this 4 or 5pm rubbish. Friendly, efficient staff, nice clean rooms, lovely food in the restaurant - a nice relaxing place to stay and get some work done in the room ahead of site visits the next day. Sue is lovely - friendly and very good at sorting out TVs :) I'd definitely recommend the Rufford Arms to anyone thinking of staying in this area.

Went for a Valentine meal, it was superb. The staff are young, friendly and helpful, very refreshing. My wife and have here a number of times, and it is always superb, the food, the staff everything. We will be going again very soon. Thank you.

Will definitely be returning to this exceptional establishment. Restaurant was clean, welcoming and staff went above and beyond to make my friends 50th celebration memorable. Food was delicious and served in a very professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble and a ‘celebration dessert’ was brought to my friend without me even asking! Wonderful! I enjoy eating out often and it would be an even greater pleasure if every restaurant followed in this establishments footsteps. Thank you so much. See you soon 👍🏻

Great place to stay. Drinks in the bar were a good price and we had a great breakfast in the morning
