ヴィラ ララ ホテル(Villa Lara Hotel)

The staff and the facilities of this hotel are simply outstanding. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. Every single interaction we had with the owner and his team was amazing. You are greeted with a warm smile and offers of assistance every time you walk into the lobby. Our room was beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained. We were so sad to leave and we were headed to Paris! We travel often and this hotel is one of my all-time favorites. I cannot wait to return.

Hotel was nicely situated in town, close to Cathedral and points of interest. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very nice and breakfast was varied and well done. They gave suggestions as well as directions for where to eat, sites to see and directions. Definitely recommend for a stay in Bayeux.

Bayeaux is a lovely town with many historic sites within walking distance and nearby. We found the staff fantastic - everyone went out of their way to help us feel like we were family - not just customers. See D-Day, Mont Ste Michel, Tapestries, and Bayeaux Cathedral.

The property is five stars. The rooms are large and uptodate. The Owner is on site and his team are 100 stars. We had a few issues with our travel agent but Philip the owner and his team made all the problems disappear. I never write recommendations but here i have made an exception.

The hotel staff was amazing and very accommodating! The hotel is located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting and taking tours in the area. We will definitely be returning here!

One of the finest hotels I've ever stayed at. Of course they have all the amenities and room quality, comfort, etc, you'd expect of a 5-Star hotel, but the staff really made the difference. From the reception, concierge, housekeeping, and bar staff, everyone was exceptional. Welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient, and complete service. Spot-on restaurant recommendations and reservations, shop recommendations, never had to worry. Impeccable bar service and Calvados tastings, well worth the visit!

My family (wife, two teenagers aged 13 and 14) and I had a delightful three-night stay at Villa Lara. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in both the lead up to and during our stay. Whether it was help with restaurant recommendations, answering travel questions, repatriating a lost stuffed animal after we left (the monkey is home!), or just chatting in the bar area, everyone was so warm and accommodating. Thanks to Laetitia, Quentin, Laura, and the entire team. The rooms themselves are well appointed, and the complimentary in-room beverages (sodas, Perrier, etc.) made our stay that much easier and enjoyable. Parking is on premises in a private lot behind a gate. Everything in Bayeux (cathedral, tapestry, main streets) is a quick walk from the hotel. The breakfast is expensive but well worth it. I’d. suggest trying it for at least one morning as it features lots of local cheese, jams, meats, breads, and pastries. After landing at CDG on a redeye and then driving three hours to Bayeux, Villa Lara was a great place to start our France adventure. Thanks for making us feel so at home!

We stayed four nights and used Villa Lara as a base for exploring the World War II beaches and Mont. St. Michel. The location was ideal, the staff was exceptional, especially Muriel (it was her first week and she aced it!), and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the kitchen staff made us sandwiches for a day trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have to get back! We came to Paris + Bayeux for my 50th birthday. This hotel was perfect for our time in Normandie. Location was amazing, room was excellent but the staff is the true standout. Every single person was so lovely, kind & helpful. We were only here for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a perfect trip!
