空港から遠くないので、フライトが帰る前の夜にエッジヒルタバーンに滞在しました。私たちは2時間早く到着し、スタッフはまったく気にしませんでした。彼らはすぐに私たちを部屋にチェックしました。キーシステムとの闘争があり、彼らはすぐに非常に素敵で丁寧なバーで無料の飲み物をくれました。私たちのフライトが夕方に出発したとき、私たちは問題のないレイトチェックアウトを依頼しました!私たちはとても感動し、スタッフが本当にフレンドリーでしたので、私たちは去りました。部屋は完璧です。Netflixと大きなテレビで働くACがうまくいっています。ベッドは信じられないほど快適で、バスルームは素敵できれいでした。私たちはとても良い方法で扱われているので、滞在中は本当に幸せでした!ホテルを本当にお勧めします!

私たちは環境全体の雰囲気が好きで、今日はそこで昼食をとります。隠れた屋外に座ってプールを見下ろすところに座って、世界のどこでも休暇を過ごすことができると思います。私たち6人は食事にとても満足しています。お金に見合う価値があると思います。私たちは19ドルのタイガーエビサラダを持っていて、ワードローブに香りのよい味があります。3つは、ワイン、ビール、ソフトドリンク、コーヒーを含む15ドルのスーパースペシャルメニュー(すでに特別なメニューを閉じています)があり、15ドルの別の価格はチキンハンバーガーとポテトチップスを含む人に非常に近いです。待合室はフレンドリーです。私たちの唯一の後悔は、「なぜ私たちはこの場所をもっと早く発見しなかったのですか」です。

パームロイヤルに3泊しましたが、もっと長くなればよかったのにと思います。私たちは最初の夜遅くにチェックインしたので、寝る以外に日中はほとんど時間がありません。私たちの部屋にはプールを見下ろすバルコニーがあり、かなり快適でした。残念ながら、部屋はロビーから長い散歩で、エアコンは非常にうるさく、通りの騒音がありました。デスクのスタッフのほとんどは快適で親しみやすかったです。ゲストランドリー+++.プールは素晴らしいです。レストランは閉まっています。このプロパティは中心部から遠すぎます。近くに買い物があります。

このキャンプ場は街から一番近いです。そのためか、それほど悪くはありませんが、キャンプサイト間のスペースがあまりなく、非常に混雑したサイトです。残念ながら、私たちはおそらくキャンプ場で最も荒れた場所に置かれました。凹凸があり、三角形の形をしており、水道接続はかなり遠くにあり、Wi-Fiの受信状態は悪いです。しかし、その上に巨大な実がぶら下がっていたので、とてもフォトジェニックでした。キャンプ場には素敵なアメニティと素敵なプールがありますが、プールベッドは 6 つだけで、もちろん継続的に使用されています。誤解しないでください。私たちは素晴らしい滞在ができましたが、サイトに運が悪かっただけだと思います。そこからケアンズのダウンタウンエリアまでは歩いて30〜40分でした。

Stayed here for 2 nights over easter. Chose a King room and on arrival were upgraded to a King Suite on Level 5. View across to Cairns and up to the mountains was very relaxing and with a largish lounge area separate to the King bedroom there is plenty of room to relax if it is an extended stay. For those who like the exercise its not s huge walk into the city especially if you go a few blocks to the foreshore parklands and wander along that way. Busses (quite a few) run along Sheridan Street as an alternate and a taxi ride is only a few $. Airport is also a short taxi trip and the hotel will have one outside within minutes as they did for us a couple of times. Hotel staff are very helpful and the restaurant serve very good meals. We ate there 3 times for evening meals. Next door is Dunwoody's Hotel which offers a great alternate for an evening meal or a nights entertainment (once their renovations are complete).

On the first night we discovered the TV in our room had a smashed screen and the bed was so old you could feel every spring. Second night we were moved to another room, TV worked but there was no internet so you couldn't access any of the apps on the smart TV, free to air only. Morning of day 4 we went to make breakfast at 7.45am and couldn't access the guest kitchen (which ic in the pool area) as the pool gates were still locked. The guest kitchen has next to no equipment for cooking anyway, 1 spatula, no tongs, no knives, 1 usable small frypan, an electric frypan that doesn't work, a toaster, microwave and kettle. The sign on the back of our room door says no food in the rooms, but if there are no facilities to cook or keep food outside of it, then you can't comply. The bed in the second room was more comfortable and the rooms were clean. The shared toilets were clean, but the shared showers need some serious attention on the mouldy grout. Very run down place, the a/c and ceiling fan worked, the fridge, kettle, microwave and TV worked. Pool was great, hot tub worked, but the rest of the facilities were either non-existent or in terrible disrepair. This resort really needs some money invested in repairs and replacing items used by the guests. The photos on the website were obviously taken years ago when this would have been a lovely resort with a bar and Cafe which are now closed indefinitely. Dry powder was spread from the room, to the hallway, toilets and under other doors. The fire alarm and evacuation notice sounded at 1.50am, while standing in the evacuation area with the other guests at 2am, the culprit was nowhere to be seen and the night caretaker didn't even do a head count of guests or check that everyone was out! What if there had been a fire? That was Wednesday night, it is now Friday morning and the extinguisher has not yet been replaced, so there is nothing to use on the ground floor if a fire started.

We stayed for 5 nights in total and couldn’t have been more impressed with both the rooms and the service at Tropic Towers. First impressions were already great as I called to change some dates due to a Fitzroy Island overnight stay - Peta could not have been more helpful and made changes to our booking free of charge, even though I called the day before our stay. When we arrived, Peta was so welcoming and explained the area to us as it was our first time in Cairns. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom apartment during our time at Tropic Towers and both were immaculate, spacious and like a home away from home. Full kitchens in both rooms meant we had no issues cooking on a couple of evenings. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our balconies too! Peta even offered for us to leave two of our bags with her for the night of our Fitzroy Island stay, instead of having to take them over to the island on the ferry. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again in future! Thank you again Peta :)
