If you're considering this terrible ”hotel” I would seriously start looking at alternative options. I was due to stay at the property from a Saturday to Tuesday. My flight was delayed so I was later arriving in Copenhagen that I expected. I arrived at the hotel at 00.05 and the whole place was closed up! There is an ”out of hours” phone number that nobody answers. I was standing outside for 30 mins in the freezing cold and snow, as there is a gate you can't get through without a keycard. Thankfully, another guest was eventually entering and I got inside. Once inside, the reception was totally locked up, not one staff member was onsite. It's a very strange set up. There is even a sign on their lift saying not to use it after 4pm as you could get stuck and if you do, the maintenance team are gone home by then so nobody can help you - is that not laughable??? It indicates nowhere nor did it state in my confirmation emails you can't check-in after midnight. Even still, the out of hours phone number should be monitored at all times. I waited until 2am and eventually found somewhere else to stay. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS AWFUL SERVICE-LESS PROPERTY!!!
The Sanders is a classy and stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Copenhagen . Inviting restaurant and bar downstairs and trendy rooftop bar upstairs . Emilie at the desk is helpful and kind . The food and service is first rate . The rooms are adequate but not large but offer all amenities . Comfortable bed and hot shower . Only mild criticism is room a little dark but overall a great experience . Enjoy the breakfast which was part of our package .You should consider the hotel favourably if you are heading to Copenhagen
Neat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
Firstly the Good, can’t really go wrong with the location, brisk 5 or 6 mins walk (without cases) from the Central Station and also fairly close to lots of attractions. Also the staff were very friendly. The Bad, being up on the top floor it was very warm with no a/c or fan and you couldn’t keep the window open as there was too much noise from the nearby main road. Also there was only a thin white blind that blocked out virtually no light at all so I found it almost impossible to sleep. Now for the Absolutely Horrible, the bathroom was a complete joke, no shower curtain, the sink was actually IN the shower, which was also extremely close to the toilet, meaning not only did I stumble into the shower area more than once whilst going to wash my hands and it would indeed be possible to have a shower while sitting on the toilet! And then we get to the access issue, while it does state they have no lift, it’s somewhat hidden away and should be clearly displayed in the information for each room. Had I been aware of this I would NEVER have booked it for me and my 83yr old father (To make it worse, we had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs) Then when you finally get there, there is a massive gap between the landing and the level where the rooms are ( It’s a good couple of inches higher than a 500ml bottle!) it’s seriously a broken arm or leg just waiting to happen…
We stayed at this hotel last weekend in room 302, and it was truly disappointing. The room was spacious but poorly equipped—no phone, mini fridge, bathrobes, or other basic amenities. We didn’t have hot water, only lukewarm, and the shower curtain clung to us while showering. On Sunday, our second day, we didn’t receive housekeeping service until I requested it at the front desk at 4:30 PM, despite being out since 10 AM. The front desk attendant was alone and eating behind a wall, which left a poor impression. We asked for a late checkout at 12 PM instead of the standard 11 AM on Monday, and they requested additional payment. The hotel has aesthetic appeal, but that’s about it—no real service and more expensive than other 4-star hotels in the area. Definitely to be avoided.
Very nice staff in the reception, some of the other staff could have been a little more service minded at the poolbar and restaurant. Good and clean rooms and pool side rooms real mean pool side👍. Breakfast okay, but the restaurant had no room for getting to the food or for the staff to refill. So if you want coffee for your breakfast be quick about it.

ゲゲスト私はここに18泊(1st half for vacation and 2nd half for medical treatment)を予約しました。
Aacton28Go Hotel Saga
