Wasn't as clean as it could be. The staff was okay very lacking. Breakfast was boring, and monotonous ended up just getting breakfast at the malls. Valet basically non existent, annoying taxi service at entrance, really annoyed that there barely were any floor staff especially upon check in. Will stay again because of location and price.
I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Coral Suites for 12 days from Feb 28 - March 12 on my first trip to Panama. The rooms are huge, the shower is powerful, the cleaning staff is always busy, and the front desk staff are amazing. They were always willing to help, whether to call me an uber or taxi, provide directions, suggest things of interest, recommend restaurants, or print off my boarding pass. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I appreciate their kind help. There is also a roof top pool, laundry facilities, a great restaurant next door, and banks and grocery stores within a few blocks. Perhaps most importantly of all ... the a/c was powerful and worked beautifully, particular important for me as I left Toronto with the temperature -9 and arrived in Panama when it was +32! I would like to thank everyone associated with the Hotel Coral Suites for making my first trip to your beautiful country so pleasant.
We loved the location next to Panama canal and our view from balcony to passing ships and Bridge of the Americas. The staff was very friendly from kind receptionist to attentive bartender and they were all smiling and waving to our little son (4 months) every time they saw us. Gym was airconditioned and clean, opened till 12 am, swimming pool big and refreshing with sunbeds and umbrellas all around. Breakfast (7 usd per person) rich, tasty with good selection of fruit, chicken, saussages, ham, cheese and eggs. Free luggage room (even for couple days when we flew to Bocas) and shuttle to mall nearby. A taxi or uber cost 4 dollars to the city center or the fish market (Mercado De Marisco Cinta Costera). We made a great choice to book this hotel.

HHolly MMClean and great location. Lacking in customer service - we were on the 18th floor, which was a good view but we had some party people beside us each night, keeping us up at night (3-4am) I would think security would notice and tell them to shut it down.
Pool was clean, hot pool was not functional.
Breakfast buffet was wonderful - alot to choose from and staff was constantly refreshing the food.
Liked · Nothing went well, the only positive aspect which was actually the reason why I picked this property, is that the room was very large and spacious but itself was not enough to compensate the overall disaster. Disliked · Everything!!! Staff -barely speaking english and not helpful at all. The hotel was the only hotel who refused by HSBC Premium Visa and they were not able to provide any alternative solution, not even a normal bank transfer. Facilities - there was a single furniture or appliance in my room which was in DECENT conditions. I firstly was assigned to room 906 but since BOTH the kitchen since and the toilet were broken, they moved us to 908. LUCKILY was in the same florr since no one from the staff came to help us into moving 12 luggages from one room to the other. Additionally, in the ”new room” the fridge was broken so we wasted some food when we discovered that everything was warm inside. Compensation? Discount? Aplogies? a coupon for a breakfast? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THE STAFF Cleanliness - all the walls, the windows, the curtains, the sheets, the floors and so one were dirty from dust, paint, different black/brown/white tracks. Sheets with dots, sofas with black stains, floor with paint, bed top covered in dust. Look at the state of the iron table or the coffe machine and tell me about cleanliness. Comfort - the bed were set as queen but were obviously full since we could barely fit in two. Value for money - the 800€ worst spent in my whole life, when I travel I specifically select only 4 stars hotel for a reason and this hotel was absolutely disgusting Bonus question - How was the view from your room? - street and lots of cigarettes under my window as you can see, despite the room was for nonn-smokers Bonus question - Kitchen facilities. First room cold water in the sink broken, I had to burn my hands to clean couple of cups. There was barely 2 forks and one mug despite the room was allocated for3-4 adults, in the first room we did not even have a coffe machine and in the second one the fridge was broken as said.
Had a one night stay recently. For the price, the location wasn't bad at all. It's safe with many restaurants nearby in walking distance. Not too far from the attraction especially Uber is inexpensive in Panama. The staff was excellent. Friendly and attentive. The bed was very comfortable. TV had a good variety. Most hardware in the room is new. Room was quiet. I had a good night rest. Now on to the not so great part - the hotel was fairly new. and the construction is really quite shoddy by US standards. 1. it's a 9 story building but they didn't appear to have built an internal water circuit. so when you turn the shower water on, find something to do - brush your teeth, etc. it'll take a good at least 5 minutes for the water to warm up. once it's warm, the shower was comfortable, but while I was waiting, I debated if I should get dressed and/or call the front desk. 2. the shower doesn't drain well because the marble floor was built too flat. so if you shower for more than 5 minutes, it floods half the main bathroom. there is another draining hole at the corner of the main bathroom but again, the surface was too flat to drain. 3. the shower head does not stay on the handle - completely due to bad workmanship and not allowing enough space. 4. the lobby restroom foam ceiling panel fell on my head as i opened the door. (no one was injured). so for one night it was fine. but i'm not sure if i would want to stay there for multiple nights or with a family. it's a shame because it's a fairly new hotel.
ゲゲスト1) First 3 nights, pool was closed for renovation. Reception said ”No pool available”. Only this, I thought, the pool was completely closed. On the forth day, I saw, guests were swimming. I asked the reception. ”Yes, you can swim”. Why the reception could not inform us only 3 days closed? 2) No towel after cleaning. Also first 3 nights. I thought that the clean team forgot to leave it, but it was not forgetting, but not ready. Towels were delivered around 19:00 first 3 nights. I called the reception every night and they said ”We inform the responsible staff” and waited for hours. Why reception didn't answer ”Towels will be delivered around 19:00 today” or advised us for delay delivering in advance? Then I didn't have to call the reception every day. Anyway, I had to wait to take shower till 19:00. Outside was 30degrees, and I wanted to take a shower immediately. 3) Weak WIFI. WIFI at Reception was with 96 Mbps, however, room at the door was 14 Mbps and at bed, no signal anymore. At desk also 2 Mbps or no signal. It's impossible to watch streaming like Netflix or web meeting. Also no smart TV. 4) My room card key was invalided every day. I had to go to the reception after back to the hotel (Elevator works with valid room card key). If no guests are at the reception, it takes soon, but one day, big group was there, and I had to wait more than 10min or more. I had a take away food, and it was no more warm when I was back to the room. 5) They asked me an advance payment even flex rate booking. They need cash? 6) No refrigerator in a room.
ゲゲストSelina/Casco Viejo is a hostel, geared to the young. I am far outside their target demographics. It is loud at night, loud enough to have them provide ear plugs BUT it is a great place to stay. Casco Antiguo is a beautiful part of Panama City and the restored restaurants and shops gives the traveler a truly enjoyable experience. Away from Casco, you will find the true heart of a city, with small shops lining streets and locals hurrying about their daily lives. The hotel offers day tours to many places and the guide that work there are knowledgably of the sites, people and traditions. I slept through the noise on the third floor and brought the unopened ear plugs with me as a souvenir (the party is at the rooftop on the sixth) and for sure I will return.
I am posting the view from the balcony of Panama City. That alone is worth a night stay.
ゲゲストDie Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage ist gut, jedoch nach dem, was ich von meinen Freunden aus Panama gehört habe, gilt die Gegend als eher unsicher. Ich persönlich habe mich jedoch tagsüber immer sehr sicher gefühlt.
