Love this hotel for 20 years, lovely pool, staff, drinks, beachside area, near all the fab shops & restaurants. Friendly staff. Little bit dated but everything you need on hand. Good food & nice atmosphere. Easy location for Garda land, Verona

We stayed in Parc Hotel Gritti in Bardolino for a week in June. We were given a double room - Room 691. The room was large, with a balcony. and had some modernisation. However, the bathroom was very run down and needed renovation. The toilet leaked and was reported at reception, but no repair completed … The hotel’s redeeming points included having a lovely pool/ pool bar, and an excellent position near Lake Garda (around 7 minutes walk to Ferry point) proximity being our main reason for choosing this hotel. Bed and breakfast option, is desirable and allows you to eat anywhere in town. Hotel evening meals involve self service buffet and are rather repetitive, but restaurant staff were lovely. Lake Garda is beautiful with many lovely resorts to visit and Bardolino is an excellent base for the lower end of the lake, One last point about hotel reception. One very pleasant member of staff was always friendly and willing to help, but most other reception staff did not smile and lacked motivation. We loved our holiday in Lake Garda, but would try a different hotel if we return….

We love the Hotel Gritti, and have stayed there many times. So relaxing, and a great base for visits around Lake Garda. Delicious food, and wonderful staff. There are many opportunities to explore Bardolino and to walk to other towns. We also love the Lake ferries!

Idid like the breakfast. It was very good and many Juice, eggs,ham sausages and breat and cakes

I was a little concerned as the hotel only rated 7.5 out of 10 but the location sold it to me. Could not fault our stay at all. Fabulous pool with more than enough loungers for all, great location, free sunbathing area by the lake, spacious clean rooms, friendly staff, free coffee during the day, the list is endless, we even received a free bottle of frizante wine at check in for doing the online check in. I would stay in the gritti again if returning to Bardolino….which is an extremely charming resort ❤️

Very nice, comfortable hotel, right on the lake. Buffet restaurant was well managed and efficient. Food wasn’t always hot and had often been standing too long (rubber bullet fried eggs and solid scrambled eggs). Loads of choice though. Would only score the food 3/5. Poolside area was really nice. Drinks were reasonable and not overpriced. Overall the staff were very friendly with the exception of Kabel in the poolside bar who clearly couldn’t give a sh*t when my food was cold. Not even an apology, just a shrug of the shoulders, and this was the al á carte option. Overall though I would recommend as the location was superb.

Really cannot find anything to complain about with this hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day unless you don't want it, tea, coffee and milk provided in rooms with little kettle. Not much to find on TV apart from BBC news. Brown bath towels provided in room for you to use by the pool. There are more than enough sunbeds for everyone, around the pool and in the gardens. The food is delicious with lots of choice. Only had two singers on during the ten days we were there, but both were excellent. Bar staff efficient and pleasant. Maybe just a small complaint was the Wellness spa etc wasn't in-hotel, you had to book at Reception to get a massage, but as we weren't that nothered, it didn't really matter. The inside pool etc looked nice. The hotel is dog friendly. It is ideally situated on the lakeside, and just a short stroll into the cafe/shops areas. Would definitely come back.

Friendly staff, super location? Nice pool. The location is excellent. The personel is super friendly. i can still hear the BON GIORNOOOOOOOOOOOO like every morning. ;-) rooms are nice. only downside is the NON adjustable airco

Overall disappointing. Occasional instances of friendliness from staff but on the whole they were neither particularly friendly or helpful and in some cases, rude. Lots of rules around half board catering arrangements, which were not adequately detailed in the information document . Staff were not helpful or particularly forthcoming when asked to explain arrangements. Rooms were basic. Our room was not ready on arrival. There was no apology and we were told in a matter of fact way to come back in an hour. Buffet food for evening was terrible. Breakfast was fine. Food in the pool bar is generally good but, again, service was brusque and impersonal. I have had a warmer welcome and departure when buying a pint of milk in Tesco. Worth mentioning that guests are permitted to bring their dogs to the hotel. We were not aware of that and had no opportunity to stipulate in advance that we wanted a room which was not used by pets. Don’t know if that is an option- too afraid to ask.Would not recommend and would definitely not go back.
