Side Star Resort Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

Got home early hours of this morning after 2 wonderful weeks away! I was initially doing a day by day review but it was getting repetitive so stopped around day 6. We were away as a party of 4 adults and 3 teenage boys age 14 and quite honestly have all loved every minute. My first mention has to go to each and every member of staff we had the pleasure of meeting. They work so hard yet still go out of their way to speak to you and make you feel welcome. Animation team work ridiculously hard from morning till night. I’m going to miss our 10 o clock “good morning” song and dance. On the theme nights these guys make it what it is! Encouraging people to get up and join them but no pressure if you preferred not too! Loads of activities for all ages! Our boys loved the Volleyball in the pool and the banter that came with it! Pool parties are bonkers but lots of fun! Highly recommend the beach disco and themed party nights! White party and Vegas night were firm favourites for us! They do get busy as they are popular so be prepared to eat a little earlier and then grab a table! Our cleaning lady always greeted us with a smile on her face and even when our lazy teen stayed in bed past lunch, she would always go back and make sure the room was spotless once he had vacated his bed! Food…delicious. So much choice. Buffet style so give those dishes a try! Not to everyone’s taste I suppose but depends what you’re expecting from an all inclusive. I’m fussy but managed to find something I enjoyed every night. There’s a bbq/grill stand outside in the evening, so go look for that as they serve different dishes daily. Food in the day again, can’t fault it! Pasta, pizza, burgers, wraps, Paninis, fresh salad, kfc style chicken, chips, waffles pancakes and many more. You will never starve at this hotel. There’s always somewhere to find food….even at 3am….go look in the Bistro! A la cartes , our party of 7 got in all 3. Book as soon as you get there. Sunbeds….if you want to guarantee one…get up between 7-7:30 and go get one! But don’t be selfish and whack a towel on it and leave it there for hours! We went down at 7, sunbathed till 8 went for breakfast and then stayed on the beds all day! Come around 2pm they do start to free up as people diapppear for the afternoon. The man who goes round the pool cleaning will go out of his way to find you one if you’re struggling. Give him a tip and a smile and he will find you loungers and a brolly. If not go to the beach! Loads of loungers down there and all in the shade if that’s your choice. But can be moved into the sim if you prefer! The sea is beautiful and warm! Disco open Wednesday and Sundays, down the stairs near the bistro from 10pm. Go in, it’s always dead but a great a**osphere. It needs promoting more! But be prepared to come out a little bit wobbly, as my husband experienced on his second night there 🫣🫣🫣 The bistro, a good after hours drinking spot where you will find people to

We had a family room which had two bedrooms. First room had a massive bed (I'm sure bugger than a super king) and two single beds in the second room. All were very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily to a really high standard and the minibar was restocked every day too. The pool and area around it was lovely the gardens were lush green and photo perfect! Staff from start to finish were so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team were great and the evening entertainment was the best we had experienced. The disco wasn't open as much as our 19 year old had expected but she was that tired after a day if archery, air rifles, slides, darts and everything else that she wanted to go to bed anyway. Plenty of choices where food was concerned and everything was so tasty! In the evening the main restaurant was busy at peak times but chefs were cooking infront of you and filling up everything all of the time so no hungry tummies. We visited the Asian and Mexican a'la carte restaurants which were fantastic! The pool bar food area at lunchtime has so much choice I often struggled to decide what I wanted. Honestly we were gutted we had only booked a week! I had read previous reviews about sun beds. I have to say on day 1 we were late down due to a delayed flight so we expected not to find any but we did. The hotel staff were monitoring beds that appeared to be reserved and were announcing that towels would be removed. If you struggle though there are loads of beds on the Beach many are under full shade and at 40+ like it was this past week many chose to head down that way. We will certainly be going back i couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Our family of eight have just completed an 11 night stay and overall was impressed with the standard. There are always going to be elements that people are not happy with especially when holidaying with different nationalities. Food - I'm a fussy eater but the standard of the breakfast & evening meal in the main restaurant was excellent. A special mention to Baki kasal (Chef) who assisted us with our food allergies card options (great Idea) and Ramazan (Waiter) who worked extremely hard and looked after us during our stay. The food choices near the pool bar at lunch are fantastic with pizza, various meats, pasta, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and branded ice-creams. The bars served some branded spirits, wine & Efes. 5 ⭐. Hotel & Area - The hotel & bedrooms are very clean and there is always somebody cleaning. Loads for kids to do, kids club, water park, activity area, tennis, darts, basketball & ok sized pool. The rooms are abit small but up-to-date. There are hundreds of shops selling footy shirts and fake designer gear 10mins walk turning right out of the hotel. 4 ⭐ Daytime Entertainment Team - This team work very hard entertaining kids & adults with fun pool games, darts, volleyball & some funny shows. Special mention to Alper. Always had a smile on his face and welcomed everybody, great guy. 5 ⭐ Two Areas for Improvement - Evening Entertainment & the Arcade. Most people spend their evening around the main pool bar and most evenings there wasn't any music or entertainment. Sometimes there was a show on in the ampitheatre (which were good) or a one man band at the beach bar. All finished by 10:30pm. There should be shows / entertainment from 9pm to at least 11pm every night, especially it the height of season. The Arcade, my lad got injured on a machine that should of been out of action but wasn't. All the staff were awful and very rude. Sunbeds is an issue especially when guests are getting up in the early hours to reserve multiple beds. There doesn't seem enough beds for peak season but this is an issue at most hotels. 1 ⭐ On a positive note the hotel managers were constantly walking round asking for feedback. They started serving Cider midpoint on the holiday at customers requests & starting removing reserved sun bed towels in the mornings. Overall a good holiday but very hot in the sun from mid 30's to late 40's 🥵, thanks.

Spotless friendly staff and entertainment team are brilliant,Las Vegas night exceptional, there are a good range of cocktails at the bar and theme nights which we all enjoyed. The al a carte restaurants served a delicious meal my favorite ( Alaturca - Turkish a la carte). For the first all inclusive experience in Turkey good quality, very good price,I recommend the hotel, we would come back

Very nice hotel with good rooms and very nice food choices. The animation team and staff were friendly and the pools clean. Some nice touches like refilled daily mini bar, shuttle to the beutiful beach bar. Food and drinks at snack bars were excellent with lots of freshly cooked stuff and good choices of salads and fruit. Gym was good and pool.partys were fabulous fun. Only thing i can think of to improve would be better allocation of sun loungers. Definately go back ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent resort for families, kids loved it a wide range of activities and great selection of food each day! Unlimited food and drink throughout the day. Miss the cakes - can’t wait to come back!

The served diet coke in every bar except the main reception bar. I cannot drink draught coke so when i asked for bottled coke. I was told to buy my own. We went to reception and give them their due sorted it but the same thing happened again the following night. All other staff were lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We were upgraded to a sea view room but unfortunately there was work going on accross the hall and there was a lot of banging. This stopped after a few days but then started in the room above. Even though we had these issues i would still stay here again.

Well I haven’t got a bad word to say about this hotel everything was absolutely lovely. The room we had was clean and the mini bar which was stocked everyday was a lovely little touch all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly couldnt do enough for us they especially looked after my 3 year old son ziggy . Food was beautiful my work clothes were tight when i got home as the food was so nice jacket potatoes kfc chicken freshly made wraps also to cocktail list was amazing too we ate at the Mexican and asian a la cartes they both too was delicious pool was cold when you got in but it was October but after 5 minutes it was absolutely fine we got a sunbed everyday . Beach area was nice and as my husband has difficulty walking due to an injury the shuttle bus to beach was so helpful . My little one loved the outdoor play area and the games room .There is a bus stop outside hotel which takes you into side we went a few times the old town and harbour were spectacular we enjoyed looking at the ruins and me and my daughter went to the amphitheater and museum that was so fascinating we have been to various parts of turkey in the past but side has stolen my heart and im already looking to book side star resort next year

I was vacationing at this hotel with my husband and son. The hotel is good. I especially want to praise the restaurant. wonderful food. Waiters serve at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach is clean. The beach has everything you need - a toilet, a shower, a bar where you can not only drink, but also eat. It is a long way to go from the sun beds to the sea. the sand is hot. it is inconvenien. Animation. what is said into the microphone is not always clear. he is whispering something. why such a timbre. They come and ask for mail to write a positive review. Animatir Behar has approached us many times. but I do not understand the animators appearance. I came with my husband and I hate that her backside is shining in front of him. there is no other way to say it. because her mini dresses do not cover anything and apparently her shorts do not either . everything is for show, especially if you bend down. did we arrive at a family hotel or at 18+ hotel? We are not in a club. I am not satisfied with this animation.
