Shower hard to operate. No regular coffee in room, $200 deposit paid for incidentals at check in… today I have a bill charge taken out of $119.25, instead of the credit of $200 back . I had already paid the reservation in full to Trip.com before check in. Front desk staff was very rude during entire stay. Most problematic even still was that I did NOT have wifi connection during the entire stay! Had to use my cellular data in the room all during the night … front desk never resolved nor seemed concerned about not having wifi access , nor did they offer a solution or compensation. We sat out front of the hotel for over 3 hours trying to come up with the $200 credit card to “authorize” for incidentals. Not the best experience for my birthday or ever! Calling hotel now about the non return of my $200 and double paying for the room that we only in from 10:30 pm- 12:15 next day!

Well, the front desk staff was VERY nice and friendly! The bartender at the vault was also very delightful. However, the front desk when I called stated the only parking they offer is valet $25/nite, but that is not the case. I can't offer other parking info cuz I have no idea where other people parked. The room was cute, but there are NO USB ports so bring a charging block. Also, there is NO counter space in the bathroom. I love the heat/ac. It's not a loud window box. That said you are in the city and can hear everything,.. trains, sirens, etc. So they have a noise machine in the room that you can use. There also is no microwave in your room. Had a great time, I'm sure we'll we back.

Everything was good except for the food poisoning I got on New Year's Eve from the hotel bar when I got something to eat that had me up all night and all day on New Year's Day throwing up

Staff members were all friendly and professional. Lobby and room were nicely decorated and very clean. There’s many restaurants to choose from.

Great location, older building with modern amenities, Starbucks, bar, food, valet parking, app for pulling your car up, walkable to restaurants, bars & shops. The rooms are showing their age a bit but everything within the room was spacious, large restroom, comfortable beds and relatively quiet aside from your typical downtown noise (garbage trucks and other vehicles, etc.) I felt very comfortable overall during my stay and would recommend and stay here again.

Everything was great except the uncomfortable bed and flat pillows. Not a comfortable sleep at all.

This is an old hotel circa 1912 which has been restored and upgraded. It is clean, efficient and well-located. The staff are uniformly friendly.

This is a renovated old hotel with modern amenities and services. The building is full of character, and the staff is very friendly.

I had booked a king didn’t know till I got to the room that it was 2 double beds. Also the bed was so high off the ground was very difficult to get into, I am only 5’1. Not well lit. Only 1 rolling chair for the desk which made it difficult to sit to help get dressed.
