Hotel in decent condition but not new

Location to airport convenient. Front desk staff not helpful with general questions - they refused to contact me in my room using the room phone or my cell phone when my grandfather arrived to take me to lunch - he has no cell phone - luckily, I literally went to the main desk to ask a question and he was sitting in the lobby just waiting as they would not assist him. I totally understand confidentiality - having owned a resort myself - but they could have called me on the hotel phone and alerted me that I had a guest without giving any proprietary information about "me"- that's all they had to do. If I was NOT expecting anyone, I just would not come to the general lobby. WiFi /Internet was spotty and continually breaking connection. TV had to be "re-set" each time it was turned off. Had an additional , not disclosed daily charge added to my bill for the use of an in room safe - even if it was not used. Had to request a refund which took a week. Towel set up was short in the bathroom upon arrival, had to go to front desk to get washcloths - floor was not very clean in bathroom. "Suite" furniture is old, stained and very uncomfortable. Hallways needed a good vacuum cleaning. Breakfast offerings were generous and fresh. Has the ability to be a great location - just need owners who care.

This place seems, unsafe and there were homeless people at all corners of the premise. I saw people carrying guns at the hotel elevator and in front of the hotel. I stayed there 3 nights and services were poor, listed items were barely provided except the parking. I will never go back to this place again.

I stayed here two nights with two friends. I really enjoyed everything about it: rooms, location, staff, breakfast, however, I noted that my room door wasn't locking--there was some mechanical problem with the lock itself, so pushing the door allowed full immediate access to my room. Very dangerous! I spoke to the staff Saturday am, was assured it would be fixed, and left for the day. Returned to find it had not been fixed and had been accessible to anyone at all for the entire day. After I let them know with much emotion, they got a guy to fix the door. Imagine staying in a hotel and discovering that the door didn't catch in the lock and a simple push got anyone in the room!

I regret booking this hotel. Came for a concert so just wanted an inexpensive place to stay for one night. I picked this hotel because it said it had a buffet breakfast and a pillar menu. I'm a little particular when it comes to breakfast - I always look for free breakfast that is not continental. I also like the idea that it had a pillow menu because I am very particular on my pillow due to neck problems and sometimes I don't always want to drag my pillow around when traveling so when it said it had this, I thought that would be perfect I can ask for a memory foam pillow because I cannot stand those Hotel style pillows. When we get there to check in the young woman at the front desk seemed nice but at the same time it seems she saw us as a business transaction and that was it. She didn't explain anything nor did she give us a welcome gift, like some places will give you a bottle of water

The property was dirty, old and outdated, stained walls, blood on the sheets, one bed looked as if it was slept in. I slept in the car! Breakfast was disgusting! Hair on the counter and toilet just nasty! Cheapest amenities you could find! No thank you!
