A very comfortable and clean bed and breakfast. The staff are helpful and the place is quiet. Glad we found this place. Located in the middle of an orange orchid with the sounds of birds and a gentle breeze blowing through the windows. Air conditioned if it gets hot. Non heated swimming pool available for doing laps, exercise or just cooling down. Beds are comfortable and the washroom has a nice shower and is CLEAN. Honor bar available in the room, rooftop deck and by the pool. The train tracks are next to the buildings but in the room you can not hear the train when the windows are shut - in addition there are actually very few trains that rumble by….they are all commuter trains and not freight trains. Stayed 6 nights after a busy 8 day riverboat cruise on the Douro.

My husband stayed here and wanted to take me for a getaway and it was an amazing, tranquil weekend I highly recommend to other couples in need of some downtime. We had very little agenda and the property in off season was so quiet with only two other guest rooms occupied. Staff leave at 10PM-we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The oranges and blossoms were in their prime so the fragrance was amazing! There is a front gate you must open/call to enter & exit for maximum privacy and the view from hotel rooms show distant sea. The room was well appointed and comfortable with ample storage, a small fridge, lovely bath products, robes and extra towels/blankets. If we needed anything, we just asked. Our lunch was incredibly prepared and after a short nap, we ventured in the rental car about 20 minutes across the border to Spain for an excellent dinner! Saturday, we spent the day at nearby Cabanas and bought from the artisanal market where we enjoyed our feast on the rooftop terrace, alone with the sunset! For the unique, pastoral, respite with high quality food & service, I think the value is exceptional. I almost do not want to review to keep the secret to ourselves...but this hotel should be honored and enjoyed by others. We cannot wait to return again!

We stayed at this wonderful quinta for 4 nights. The place is located in a huge orange grove and everywhere you look you see trees laden with beautiful oranges. We were greeted by Alexandra who was so friendly and gave all the information regarding the hotel, the facilities and a detailed explanation about the area. Our room was located on the second (and last) floor, the room is big with a beautiful view to the groves and till the sea. The rooms had everything one would need for a comfortable stay including a coffee machine, safe, water, minibar etc. Bathroom is big with a walk-in shower. there is an open veranda on the 2nd floor where one can sit enjoy a drink and settle down after a day of traveling Breakfast is minimalistic in a wonderful way with fruit, cheese, coldcuts eggs , home made jams and pastries. we didn't need anything besides that and sitting out in the garden was a great way to start the day

A wonderful property, beautifully kept, very clean & spacious rooms. Breakfast is lovely and the setting is fabulous. A short 30 minute stroll to the nearest small town for restaurants & train station. Bikes available to borrow and a very peaceful orange grove location. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. This was our second stay and we will return.

10 minute drive from Tavira town, you are agreed by a dirt road surrounded by 100’s of Orange trees. This place is the land that time forgot. We spent 2 nights here the peace and tranquility was amazing. You will be defeated by the silence. We ordered dinner on both nights as it is served on the roof terrace, I would highly recommend a 8pm sitting as to watch the sun set it is surreal. Food lovely and staff amazing. We couldn’t get over the honesty bars a really classy touch.

An oasis of calm and peace in a wonderful location surrounded by orange and olive trees. Thank you Sergio, Ana, Elisabete and all of the other staff for looking after us so well. Those cakes! We very much hope to return before too long.

Staff exceptional, clean, quiet, great location, fantastic setting in the orchard. Exactly as we wanted! More than happy to recommend this as a place to stay.

Fine Eco tourism experience, beautiful garden around, very good breakfast, nice pool, bicycle ride to the beach.
