Sinceramente elegimos este hotel por la supuesta cercanía a la playa. Hay una buena distancia y escaleras hasta llegar a la playa. En cuanto al desayuno, único servicio utilizado, no era lo que esperaba, dada la categoría del establecimiento. De hecho, de tres desayunos, en dos de ellos la leche de soja estaba estropeada!!!. Mencionar también que la limpieza me dejó bastante insatisfecho. Teníamos unas sábanas manchadas con lo que parecía sangre... no las cambiaron hasta el segundo día.... Quería otra almohada y la agarré del armario y me cayeron unas enormes pelusas!!! También pongo fotos por aquí... Lo único que salvó este desencanto, fue la atención del personal, siempre amable y las instalaciones exteriores cuidadas. Siento esta valoración, pero creo que hay cosas a mejorar, especialmente dada la categoría 4 estrellas.

El hotel es muy confortable y el personal excelente. El buffet es muy bueno así como las instalaciones. Justo al lado de la playa. Ha sido una estancia muy agradable. Lo recomiendo.

Stayed here in the second half of October on a great half board deal with Jet2 from the UK and was blown away by how good the hotel and the town of Conil de la Frontera is. Clean, spacious, the staff work really hard to make it a slick efficient experience. I requested a quiet room and was in the separate block. The room, hotel and town were so peaceful - no music blaring round the pool here. The food in the hotel was very diverse with lots of spanish options and over the course of 7 days I didn't feel any particular repetition to the evening main meal choices. The pools, were a comfortable temperature, the sun loungers cushioned and comfortable, and the towels fit on ALL of the lounger. The bar prices were very reasonable and equivalent to mid price places in the town. e.g. 3.50 euro for a glass of wine. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the town, and there are lots of routes via the beach and town - and lots of great places to eat. I was glad I was half board because it meant I could try and different place in town for lunch every day. So many places I still wanted to try - even in low season - so hopefully I will be back. Main tips 1. If mosquitos find you tasty - it's worth bringing repellent/anti histamine etc. It was no problem in the day - but I did get bitten a few times in the evening if I spent too long outdoors 2. If you are British its worth knowing a few phrases in Spanish more so for going around the town, but you will be OK if you don't know any. I found quite helpful learning the german for "I am in English", for the steady stream of tourists asking me questions

Very good hotel. We have spent a week from 3rd October, flew in on jet2 to Jerez then coach transfer. Rooms well maintained and good standard we were in building 2, Staff very friendly and helpful, Food very good we did b&b and paid for evening meal separate, would have done full board, Conil is about a 15 mins walk If British learn a few basic Spanish phrases to get you along main countries catered for are German, Dutch and Spanish, we were the only brits for half the week. Loved it Massive beach within walking distance Hotel rooms do seem not to get the sun even those facing the sea, evening entertainment was available usually singers from 9pm Would we come again yes!

A pleasant stay at this hotel. Room had a really nice colour scheme and one imagines the inspiration was from the colour of the sea. Bed was massive and firmish but comfortable. Toiletries included & was even a kettle & 2 cups. I had a problem with shower head & i couldn't fit my water etc in small fridge due to minitures. Reception got the fridge emptied for me & a maintenance guy came within the hour. Staff were hardworking & courteous & are a credit to the hotel. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels & the maid even knew your name. Hotel grounds were lovely & next to lovely long sandy beach. Meals were buffet style & plenty of choice. A walk to the nearby spanish village was approx 10 minutes along the coast road & a large cash & carry type supermarket also about 10 minutes walk. Also some beach bars. Wasn't much else around though so this i feel a purely relax & stay type of holiday unless you fit in trips. You could catch local bus to Cadiz which takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.

I visited Conil and this hotel for the first time in may 2025 (with my girlfriend). We found it (overall) a good/attractive hotel. In october 2025 i returned for a 3 weeks stay for an spanish course in Conil. Due to the closure of Fuerte Conil early november i had to stay two extra weeks in 3 extra hotels (all 4star hipotels: in Conil, Novo SanctPetri and Jerez). Looking back at Fuerte Conil: it has great rooms but replace the with stepin bath, more variations/themes of your meals (every day an other: spanish food, then italian, than asian, then mexican, then fish, then bbq, etc.), gym and indoor piscina open at 07.00 and outdoor piscina from 9.30 (use solars to heaten the grand outdoor piscina), keep open the hotel at least 3 weeks extra, put a microwave in every room (and/or rebuilt some habitions into somewhat bigger habitations with kitchenette). Also use some tapis (then the maletas makes lesser noise), and use more less noisy/clapping doors. Beautiful: your porch/wintergarden, but grade up your restaurant (but keep the authencity). And the quality and the presentation of the food can be better (take a look at the Barrosso Park restaurant / evening cenar).

A lovely clean room that was reset every morning. Friendly helpful staff who are always at your disposal to help. Lovely quiet garden settings (except for weekends when there are many children at the location). A huge breakfast selection. Probably the cleanest pool I have ever seen anywhere. A very short walk to the busy centre of Conil de la Frontera. An expansive underground car park which is reasonably priced per day. A lovely stay. No doubt we will return.

The hotel is a very pleasant place to stay. It is close to a very large beach which you gain access to either down a large slope or via stairs. The town of Conil is about a 15 minute walk to the centre but 10 minutes until you start to hit the restaurants etc. We had a sea view room and the view is very nice. The room is of a decent size but not massive. It was well maintained and kept. We were quite close to reception but that offered no inconvenience. We ate at the restaurant several nights and while the food is good we felt the quality of choice varied on different nights, some very good and some just ok. Food quality was fine. Breakfast was a decent choice. The restaurant did become very busy sometimes and the hotel has a strange policy of making you queue before gaining entry due to them wanting to show you to a table. We found some nights the restaurant was noisy due to the number of children in there and the tendency of their parents to allow them to do what they want and make as much noise as they want (not something the hotel can control really). It was also very noisy one evening due to a corporate event taking place and all those guests arriving on mass at the same time. The grounds of the hotel are nice but rather small. The same for the pools. The main pool is fine and the small pools little used tbh. Sun beds I imagine can be a bit of a scramble in the height of the season. There was always some available when we were there. The staff generally were helpful but there were exceptions especially within the waiting staff who could be abrupt. The staff in the bar were very helpful and friendly. Reception were good. Tips - 1 -There is a public car park close by which we managed to find space in each day so didn't need to pay the hotel for parking. 2 - The approach and entrance to the hotel is not obvious if you arrive by car and not as part of a coach party. What looks like the entrance at the roundabout is not. It is 50 metres up the hill behind the wall. 3 - The mini fridge in the room worked well and if you remove the bottles etc the hotel is trying to sell you it is useful for your own drinks.
