レイク フロント ホテル(Lake Front Hotel)

We enjoyed spending a short time in Cooperstown. We were a weekend too late to be able to enjoy the restaurant as it closed for the season. The room was comfortable, however it had limited amenities. It did have a mini frig. There was no in room coffeemaker- which is a nice feature. The hotel did offers coffee and tea at their front desk across the street. The parking lot had fewer spaces than rooms in the section we were staying. You would have had to park on the street. We would like to review again once the restaurant is open. It was very close to the Main Street and stores.

We stayed in the building across the street from the office. The room was pretty spartan. Two uncomfortable chairs, no mini-fridge or in-room coffee maker. Bathroom was really small, with no counter space for toiletries (pedestal sink). The very small, screened-in balcony overlooking a section of the lake, had two more uncomfortable chairs. Location on the lake and near downtown was one plus.

Checking in-the person wasn’t very nice. I also called front desk to ask for an extra pillow and blanket-same women didn’t sound too pleased-extra pillow and blanket never came. Restaurant was nice-great views and waitress was very nice. Room was basic-walls very thin and can hear everyone breathe, cough or talk-including every movement of the guests above us. Nice for a very short trip-which it was. Wouldn’t stay longer than one evening.

The room was clean and close to the hall of fame. Staff was ok friendly. No room service. Towels are thin. Parking early in the day good but in the evening limited. Hair dryer didn’t work. It did serve its purpose but not someplace to hang out in.

Beds were comfortable. Bathroom likewise. No refrigerator or microwave. This was a major negative. For elderly persons with arthritic knees, stairs to 2nd-floor room were difficult. Receptionist was not particularly personable, but that’s a minor concern. Restaurant on premises was convenient and satisfactory. Also, very convenient to boat trip on Lake Otsego. Discount tickets for restaurant and free ticket for boat ride were a plus.

Excellent experience. First class and we will always have fond memories of our stay.

Should be much nicer for the price. Bathroom was stark, shower poor, no countertops, room tv was tiny, room smelled of cleaning products but noisy if you open the window to air it out.

The location can’t be beat. The room was small and had be remodeled. However the bed and chairs were uncomfortable and made it a less than relaxing stay. The room had a slight damp smell, not sure if it was the a/c. I enjoy staying in a traditional motel and with a few refinements this place would be perfect. The restaurant was very good and they give you discount cards included with your stay. Plan time to walk around the neighborhood it is a picture perfect spot. You are close to everything and we enjoyed our visit.

The property was convenient to the city sites. The room was nice and comfortable and the closeness to the lake was a treat. We had some loud guests above us, which is not the hotels' fault.
